Fun fact: when I first got my new phone, I was spending a lot of time driving my mom around and was bored waiting on her to leave shops and the like. I downloaded a pixel art app to my phone so I could pass time. It's actually VERY EASY for a non-animator like myself to animate entire minute-long gifs by pixeling each frame and saving it in numerical order then importing it into a free animation app. I've done it a few times with surprisingly nice results! For anyone who wants to try to do this on their phone, I used Dotpict and Flippaclips.

I want to say thank you cuz this was really helpful. I just discovered today what gif tuber was. I've had live 2d and PNG but wanted something in the middle. It's great that I can use the same software I have for PNG for the gif one.

I have problems on the first method because I did copy pasted it perfectly, but it doesn't show at all! I tried checking on the images that I copied the link to the right locations and then also tried double checking the link discord stream kit provides

I know a few free ones i wanna add to that list when it comes to the PC version, ibisPaint is good for iOS tablet and phone if you just use a finger and can’t afford a drawing tablet yet. FireAlpaca was one I used for my art and a couple of my speedpaints for a while until I made the switch to a very similar program, Medibang.

You draw a character and save it as png. You will want at least 4 different pngs for the character. 2 with the eyes closed and the mouth open in one and closed in the other. Then you'll want another two with the eyes open and the mouth closed and one with the mouth open for speaking

this is SUPER helpful tysm omg. BUT i do have a question if anyone can answer it. can you use the first option to capture a different audio from discord? like if you're in call with another person and you want to put a little animated guy for them too are you able to use the first option by punching in their id? or is the 2nd option the only one from these that lets you have a 2nd avatar for a collab? any help would be crazy helpful tysm

It's my understanding that you can! Just have to make sure you put their ID like you said, and their specific png urls for the code!
