Keep in mind that updating the themes is not necessary because its not for security but just minor design new features, so always check the changelog for the update to see if anything interesting for you then update. To get back to previous version you can do that by publishing the older version from your themes library below the main new theme version, the one that still says "Update Available" Cheers
