Watching this for the first time was literally life changing for me. It's when the penny finally dropped for me and caused my own AHA moment when I realised that I understoood exactly what he was talking about in terms of his Aspergers. Life has become so much easier since learning loads about the subject and getting my own diagnosis at the beginning of last year.
Beautiful soul , you make me laugh with your mum's cake story , beautiful video ,you speak with your heart full of positive energies and passion for what you do, one can tell how much you're passionate about nature , thanks again for sharing with us 🙏❤ .
What a fantastic film. Chris you are an amazing person and I’m so grateful you are exactly who you are doing and being exactly as you are. Thank you so much. Keep on keeping on. You are awesome.
This is probably the best thing I’ve ever watched on TH-cam. So beautifully presented. I was going to save it to watch later but I couldn’t tear my eyes from the screen. It was like going on the walk myself. Totally immersive. Brilliant. X
Dear Mr Packhan and I are almost the same age, I was once a Soldier in Her Majesties Army and as fit as a butcher's dog, now, I feel more like a badly mended teapot. Here's to you Chris, bring another "Mars bar" next time.
the peace & tranquility, I love it them walks, you take your time & think what there's is around you & what can be added, nature our friend, thanks for doing this Chris
Second time I have watched this video. You are such an amazing guy Chris and the story of Itchy and Scratchy was an emotional moment. I have kept my dogs ashes although I didnt put him in the oven, when my cat goes I want them both with me when I get cremated. Their part of you always
Came to watch because I wanted to replicate the style (POV camera and drone) of this brilliant series for my own hiking vlogs. I'd not seen the Chris Packham one and I'm so glad it's here because it's an incredibly moving watch. What a treasure Packham is
Thank you for this Chris. So very relaxing and nice. My girlfriend's folks were the ones that sent you CCTV footage of the cheeky otter going after their carp in Gloucester.
Very glad I could see it again. Just back from holiday, stayed near Winchester and did the walk with my husband on a lovely sunny day. Your thoughts during the walk made it extra special for me. Thank you very much for this!
Nature is such a tonic, we all need to stop, take a deep breath and listen, the rewards are amazing. What a great video, Nellie would love to explore there 👍🐶
Thank you so much for uploading this! So much love for Chris. His walk of all the walks of the series really has stayed with me so it's been a complete pleasure to watch it again. So glad he lingered by those hedgerows and learned to love The Nature with every part of his being. So glad he managed to ward off the darkness with the dogs who surely loved him as much as he loved them.
I love the words and phrases he uses such as the 'sweating sandwhiches'. Love walking and take my granddaughter with me - she loves learning all about the wildlife, can identify plants, trees and birds. Began to name things when she was 6. I share his love of dogs too. Such an interesting person.
6:57 => The relaxation that comes with floating on a small river is AMAZING ! I have an inflatable Kajak (Intex Excursion Pro 250 EUR on Amazon) which I use for 5h floating trips on the river Sieg near Bonn/Hennef in the hot summer. I am self diagnosed autistic (45 years old - diagnosed at 38) and it is a ritual that I do EVERY year a few times :) I can HIGHLY recommend it to any autistic nature-lover ! An inflatable cushion for your back is much better than the original seats, btw ! I stripped the boat of all accessories so that it is super comfy :)
To me, it makes perfect sense that Chris Packham would discuss suicide and mental health as he is near Winchester Cathedral, because I actually visited the Cathedral and lit a candle on the day of Chester Bennington's funeral.
Isn’t Chriss a wonderful human being 😀
Anyone else think so????
i like the guy
Absolutely ❤
I concur
That was the best 59 minutes I have ever had on youtube. Top man Chris
I have watched this 3 times now. It’s an hour of tv that connects with me on many different levels
I feel the same. I love people who are totally genuine and honest as chris is.
One of the most wholesome videos I've ever watched on TH-cam.
Chris is such a lovely guy and his passion for nature is quite moving.
Just brilliant! You are an inspiration Chris! May you keep spreading abroad the hope and light and life...

I grew up near this river. Swam in it only last weekend. So wonderful to see it presented so beautifully. What a charming hour of TV
I lived in boyatt Wood and swam and walked this river often

❤ the yellow shirt!
Wonderful video, anyone know what kind of 360 camera it was shot with?
The sounds and sights of nature is so theraputic its odd. I'd love to have a plot like Chris's.
does what it says on the tin, a fascinating insight and i think a worthy companion piece to the recent walk with Paul Merson, on iPlayer.
❤
Otters!
Could do with other celebrities making a similar video.
Are the BBC okay with you uploading so much of their content on here?
I'm ok with it. This video is too special to hide away from people. I'm not ok with your lack of gratitude.
They should be. After all WE paid for it.
