Same. I got into it at the end of Alien Force and the beginning of Ultimate Alien when I was 6. I'm 19 now and recently finished watching all four main shows along with Race Against Time and Alien Swarm. Ben 10 was the first phase I went through as a kid, and I still love it today.

I, like allot of other fans, originally didn't like Omniverse because of its drastic art style shift, and I didn't like than Ben just went from a serious fighter to a goofy hero, but it had allot of deep moments that just expanded on things from the previous series. Omniverse accomplished so much workd building. It didn't try to throw away the past and implement something new. It took what was already there and made it bigger and better, and had such an amazing soundtrack to go along with it.

I mean, it's not like you're going to win a war of strategy and wits against the guy who makes stuff like that. In the best case scenario, you kill the guy in front of you and then some relative makes forty of them and retaliates. It was never shown that Ben transformed into which alien first by the Omnitrix because Omniverse is based a few months after Ultimate Alien so there is a chance Ben transformed into Heatblast or Swampfire using the Omniverse Omnitrix too.
The score that plays in OV, when a young Ben first gets the prototype omnitrix in the final scene in this video... The score is such a powerful emotion for me. It signifies and shines light on a new beginning... The beginning of a legend. The legend of Ben 10.
When Omniverse was released, I honestly didn't like it for it's art style but as I started to watch it, it started to grow on me. I loved Alien Force's Highbreed plot and the Ultimate Alien's Forever Knights vs Dagon plot but Omniverse expanded on the universe. Still wish they used the same art style but at least the timeline isn't rebooted. Correction, Omniverse expanded on the multiverse. Omni means all and verse as in the Universe. It expanded on all the universes.
Same here bro i didn't quite like Omniverse at first mostly because of its art style but as I got to watch it more I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought it has some pretty good episodes and arcs like the ghostfreak arc in season 5, the rooters in season 6, the different Bens like Ben 23, the Albedo arc in season 4, I somewhat like Albedo's ultimatrix, the Halloween theme song and the Saturdays crossover episode T.G.I.S.

Ben putting on the Omnitrix in Alien Force hits a lot harder when you remember why he took it off. Also I like that most of Swampfire's transformations show the ribcage growing despite the fact that he probably has no bones.
@@Lazer_Specter i am pretty sure they kinda forgot about it. Kinda like Humogosaur skull enlargement transformation, which only appears like one or two times. My theory is that their budget was kinda limited during the first few episodes hence why most transformation sequence looks kinda the same. It was not until Jetray introduction that they became more liberal with it
if youre referring to feedback it was confirmed that the reason ben took it off didnt have anything to do with feedback, so unless someone who worked on the show decides to give an answer we'll never really know

If I had to hazard a guess I’d say someone was killed or at least seriously hurt in the crossfire of a battle he was a part of and he felt responsible. The only reboot (that I know of) that other reboots should learn from is the Johnny Test reboot.(Only the animation and certain voice actors changed. The characters' personalities are still intact and most of the voice actors are still there.)

IK alot of people didnt like omniverse but honestly it was one of my favorites it had a pretty mature and seasoned ben who yea didnt always take everything seriously but he rarely lost a fight anymore, got to see new aliens, explore ideas from the past, future, even the first episode of the series, in terms of ending a franchise I think omniverse did an amazing job, and showed that ben was on his way to he an incredible and powerful Hero

Well.... they changed the art designed because the orginal art designer name Dwayne McDuffie was passed away in 2011 2/22, so no choice but change the new one name Derrick J. Wyatt to replaced him, to sad to heard this.
They tried to attract younger audience (toy sales) by trying to be similar to the OG series That's why omniverse was kind of silly and comedic. It lacked the seriousness and plot depth of UAF
I noticed that too. It also happened in Many Happy returns the episode in Omniverse where Kevin and Gwen returned Ben wanted Xlr8 so he could save that little girl from the fire but since Ben wasn't looking at the new omnitrix dial closely he failed to realize that the alien icon that he selected was actually Rath. I don't think the omniverse omnitrix often gives him the incorrect alien or plays up Ben is just to impatient and reckless to understand it's features and he's too eager to jump into danger without a second thought.

I love it how the omnitrix recalabrates into a more advanced version of itself and how right at the end Ben is given a completed omnitrix. I hope that at the end of the reboot Ben 10, Ben is given a completed omnitrix as well. And if he isn’t then I hope azimuth at least gives him a more advanced omnitrix you know?

That's because in Alien Force after the omnitrix had recalibrated it programs all of Ben's new aliens information into his brain like their names, their abilities and how to use their abilities. That's why when Ben first turned into swampfire he immediately shouts the name out even though Ben had never turned into swampfire prior to Ben 10 returns part 1.

I miss my childhood, I had the ben ten watch toys, the one that yells out the name of the aliens when you put their figurine on top of the toys, and the projectors, it was the coolest thing I had. But when I visited my cousin's house, I lost it after forgetting to take it, and I never found it again, worst day of my child self I was never really into the lore of ben ten as a kid, only for the epic fights and pivots on early youtube, and rewatching these cartoons really give me the nostalgia hair spikes on my arms

Ben got himself the watch oh i love time travel.
When Omniverse was released, I honestly didn't like it for it's art style but as I started to watch it, it started to grow on me. I loved Alien Force's Highbreed plot and the Ultimate Alien's Forever Knights vs Dagon plot but Omniverse expanded on the universe. Still wish they used the same art style but at least the timeline isn't rebooted.
Correction, Omniverse expanded on the multiverse. Omni means all and verse as in the Universe. It expanded on all the universes.
Same here bro i didn't quite like Omniverse at first mostly because of its art style but as I got to watch it more I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought it has some pretty good episodes and arcs like the ghostfreak arc in season 5, the rooters in season 6, the different Bens like Ben 23, the Albedo arc in season 4, I somewhat like Albedo's ultimatrix, the Halloween theme song and the Saturdays crossover episode T.G.I.S.

Ben putting on the Omnitrix in Alien Force hits a lot harder when you remember why he took it off. Also I like that most of Swampfire's transformations show the ribcage growing despite the fact that he probably has no bones.
There is an alternative animation with vines wrapping around his arms and body but was used only once for some reason

My theory is that their budget was kinda limited during the first few episodes hence why most transformation sequence looks kinda the same. It was not until Jetray introduction that they became more liberal with it
if youre referring to feedback it was confirmed that the reason ben took it off didnt have anything to do with feedback, so unless someone who worked on the show decides to give an answer we'll never really know

If I had to hazard a guess I’d say someone was killed or at least seriously hurt in the crossfire of a battle he was a part of and he felt responsible. In all honesty I can’t think of any other reason why but I’m open to other theories.

The only reboot (that I know of) that other reboots should learn from is the Johnny Test reboot.(Only the animation and certain voice actors changed. The characters' personalities are still intact and most of the voice actors are still there.)

IK alot of people didnt like omniverse but honestly it was one of my favorites it had a pretty mature and seasoned ben who yea didnt always take everything seriously but he rarely lost a fight anymore, got to see new aliens, explore ideas from the past, future, even the first episode of the series, in terms of ending a franchise I think omniverse did an amazing job, and showed that ben was on his way to he an incredible and powerful Hero

if you look closely at 6:31 you can see Ben actually stopped on spidermonkey when he put in his command and humungasaur is to the right.
I noticed that too. It also happened in Many Happy returns the episode in Omniverse where Kevin and Gwen returned Ben wanted Xlr8 so he could save that little girl from the fire but since Ben wasn't looking at the new omnitrix dial closely he failed to realize that the alien icon that he selected was actually Rath. I don't think the omniverse omnitrix often gives him the incorrect alien or plays up Ben is just to impatient and reckless to understand it's features and he's too eager to jump into danger without a second thought.

Ben went from having a chunky kid’s watch in OS to a sleek Rolex in Alien Force to a gauntlet in Ultimate Alien and to finally a smart watch in Omniverse.
Well the omniverse series is definitely the best series in my opinion. Now I know why that satellite suddenly went to ben’s location

I miss my childhood, I had the ben ten watch toys, the one that yells out the name of the aliens when you put their figurine on top of the toys, and the projectors, it was the coolest thing I had. But when I visited my cousin's house, I lost it after forgetting to take it, and I never found it again, worst day of my child self
I was never really into the lore of ben ten as a kid, only for the epic fights and pivots on early youtube, and rewatching these cartoons really give me the nostalgia hair spikes on my arms
