Was just in Japan last week and your vids make me want to go back already. Highly recommend visiting Asakusa if you're still in the area. Feels like you're in Kyoto and lots of cute cafes/traditional Japanese souvenirs; authentic 2nd hand yukatas, kimonos, and haoris. Out of the whole trip - didn't expect to love the cities of Nagano and Kanazawa more than the rest. It was an otherworldly experience there staying at Ryokans in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for the uploads. These vids are amazing!
I was actually supposed to visit Asakusa on my last day but then it poured crazy rain... That will be for my next trip!! ☺️ I loooooved Kyoto so you really made me want to go now haha Thanks for your tips about Nagano and Kanazawa! For my next trip, I really want to explore more outside the big cities!
Tokyo is just amazing to explore. I love the Don Quijote stores, so much in them and great prices. Family Mart was my go to for morning coffee and really good snacks and food. There's just so much to love. I'll be back in May for 2 months.
So much stuff at Don Quijote, indeed!! 😂 Made me feel dizzy haha I LOVE FAMILY MART. Biggest fan haha Lucky you!! Must be such a great season in japan 🥺
You have quickly become one of my favourite silent vloggers:) i love seeing glimpes of these places through your eyes. Hope to visit japan soon as well!
You're too kind, I don't deserve it!! 🥺 Hope you will get to visit Japan too - I'll make you a full itinerary haha (spoiler: you'll need to wake up super early every day like I did during this trip haha)
Thank you so much for making this video! We saw it and I visited the neat Travelers Factory store when we went to Tokyo. I collected as many of the train station stamps that we came across with my family all through our 2 week trip. It was really fun to hunt for them and do something new like this together! :)
Omg thank you for commenting, this is such a heartwarming comment 🥺❤️ I am so glad you all had fun hunting stamps, it's the best!! ☺️ And I hope you got tons of little treasures at the Travelers Factory shop!! 🎁☺️
Great low-key vibe in your vlog. And omg…when I saw your notebook filled with lists, check boxes, and a straight edge 🤩 🤩 🤩. It’s like a page out of my daily routine…😂. Enjoy Japan 🇯🇵. I go back to Tokyo next week on the back end of a work trip.
Your vlog brought back nice memories of my first visit to Tokyo last year; we walked the same streets! I also couldn’t leave Sekaido without buying anything - I bought some Sailor fountain pen ink cartridges which are much cheaper than at home (UK). Also, the Omoide Yokocho was much busier when we were there in the evening. Great stuff; looking forward to the next instalment!
Aaah, I love when this happens 🥺❤️ Thanks for commenting!! That Sekaido trip was the first one of a long list of art and stationery trips... 😂 (to the horror of my wallet haha) Itoya, Travelers Factory, Loft... I did them all! And I agree, it's so much cheaper and the quality is so much higher than anywhere else in the world 😦
@@storiesofmilo thank you i binged watch it love your contents. Next time come visit Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh, Ha Noi and Da Nang. They are lovely town with a lot of hidden gems too.
@@storiesofmilo Oh yes , i'm in Ho Chi Minh city. I'm sure I can list down a lot of experiences you should do here. In addition to that, I highly recommend you visit Hoi An. This place is near my hometown. It has such a good and cozy vibes where you could enjoy every single moment for such a peaceful and charming countryside in Vietnam.
Thank you ❤️ I thought the same!! I didn't watch the show but I read the manga... So many cute little houses in Japan reminding me of the Midnight Diner 🥰
As a Japanese who lives in countryside, I’ve learned Shinjuku is the most dangerous area in Japan by my parents, so I worried a little about your exploring there at the night😂. Anyway, it seems you enjoyed much , and I am happy to watch it😊. Please come to Japan again and we are very welcome🥰.
Don't worry, I've lived in cities much more dangerous than Tokyo!! 😅 But thanks ☺️❤️ I am planning my next trip again!! Hopefully I'll get to explore more the countryside!
Idk if you know this but since you already are collecting Eki stamps or train station stamp you’ll probably will love collecting shrine/temple stamps known as goshuin where you can buy the official book called goshuincho at any temple or shrine you visit and start collecting them. Of course they are payed but usually are from 300 to 600 ¥. I haven’t done it myself since my trip isn’t until later in the year but just a thought.
Thanks to telling me!! I knew about it but I couldn't find the stamps at the shrines I visited... 😂 And I didn't want to bother anyone for that haha (meanwhile, the train stamps were super easy to find!) I also collected some from shops and other random places that had a stamp... I love this stamp culture in Japan!! ❤️ I'll try to find the courage for my next trip to collect the ones from shrines... This book you mentioned might be a good motivator! ☺️
@@storiesofmilo mostly you can find them at the same place they sell their omiyage or what you can buy for good health. You can ask them by showing them your book or asking them like “goshuin onegaishimas” there’s a few website that can help locate them, what they look like and if that temple/shrine sells the book what designs they have as well. I feel like looking for the other stamps at stations would be harder for me idk 😮💨😅
Ooooh good tips, thank you!! ☺️ Noooot, not all, it's super easy to find!! They are always by the turnstiles with like a big colorful sign haha and usually some people are around stamping!
I never knew about this whole "silent vlog" genre but I stumbled upon your channel while prepping for my first ever solo trip: two weeks in Japan! I'm loving the content you put out and I can't wait to experience it for myself! I too get overstimulated and don't drink alcohol so good to know there's a peaceful way of exploring Tokyo. November can't come soon enough!
welcome to the club of peace and quiet 🌿😌 you will have the best of best time!! Amazing view of Shibuya crossing from above and very unique atmosphere of the narrow alleys of Golden Gai and Omoide at night.
