Hope you've had an amazing time Libby. Wish I could still go overseas but out of the question at the minute. Last flew to Madeiria in 2019 before the world changed. We only went Buisness class to the U.S. when they bumped us up a couple of times. Thought all my birthdays had come at once.
I love airport hotels.
Always wanted to go to Alaska. You and Kev will have made some amazing memories.

Safe travels. I look forward to following along on your trip as it has always been a dream of mine to be able to visit Canada one day. Not sure if that is ever likely to happen so instead I can get to live vicariously through your travels. Hope you are having an awesome time.
Banff has been on my bucket list since I was a teenager (did a jigsaw of the hotel) so we definitely plan to go back and see more than just Vancouver.
Hi Libby, I remember Kevin’s trip to the airport for his DC trip and the Uber driver getting his passport, and Kevin mentioned he might offer him a job. Is the coworker who took y’all to the airport the same guy? I have never flown business class, but it’s so much nicer. I don’t travel anymore, although I wish I could, but business class would be the only way I would consider it. Economy, at least in the USA, is an exercise in pain and endurance.
Yes, it was the same guy :-). I love that Kevin was able to help the guy out like this. And Kevin said he's really skilled and working out really well. We can really only travel business on the longer flights too. We find economy to Hawaii (8 -9 hours) okay but no longer than that. Luckily Kevin has lots of frequent flyer points that we can use to book business class as it's gotten crazily expensive since the pandemic due to high demand.
