I couldn't agree more. I fell in love with Chanel exactly in that order. I'm African American and Chanel's base is the only one that matches my skin. Also, the Soliel de Chanel works as a perfect base during Summer for me. Great video
I have used Chanel products for 35 years+. L'huile is the second version of that product and just as good as the first one. Soleil is truly a must. They used to have the same format for Le Blanc de Chanel, not sure why they stopped selling it. Love the Jersey blush and Eau de toilette, although les Exclusifs are expensive, such unique scent are worth trying. Le volume mascara is fantastic. mascaras for a long time were not Chanel strong suit, but things have changed. I love the Rouge Allure on Erin, but my go to is Adrienne. They used to have a red lipstick with matching nail polish called No 5, sadly it has been in the past for a long time. This is a beautiful presentation of Chanel product. Love this video.
i started buying from chanel a couple months ago, my first product was the les beiges healthy glow bronzer and i absolutely loved it!! to this day i haven’t stopped buying from chanel because their products are amazing. im thinking of starting to buy some of their skincare products. before watching this i was a bit unsure where to start and this video helped me so much. thank u :))

Your list is right on! The two I haven’t tried are the skincare and fragrance. I’m not a fan of overly fragrant skincare and I haven’t really found a Chanel perfume that I love. I’ve come close with Coco Noir but didn’t pull the trigger.

Yes definitely! It’s always been considered the number 1 most popular foundation, I decided on the Cc cream instead simply because it’s a skincare/complexion product that’s pretty universal regardless of skin type or desired coverage. I completely agree though, it’s a staple! Xx

I have a question about a product not mentioned in this video, but that you wear. I have never worn highlighter. Would you recommend I start with Chanel Highlighting Powder in Ivory Gold (or another shade) or Le Lion de Chanel Illuminating Powder, or Chanel Le Signe du Lion Illuminating Powder in Or Blanc? A great list of products. I have not tried the oil cleanser as yet. I have been using Shu Uemura oil cleanser for years and love that. Maybe I will have to try it. I have not tried the new formulated cc cream only the old one and I did not like that at all. I found it too thick and heavy but now will try the new formula one if you recommend it. I do have all the others including many red lipsticks and perfume . I am going thru my perfume journey with my Nordstrom’s person. It is taking me weeks and still not nailed it. I do love coco mademoiselle and coco and Chanel 19 and no 5 the old version not l’eau. I know I will get there but I want one of the signature scents. You are most stunning in the video love to see all of your info and recommendations. Much appreciated. Thank you.

Barbie Lee I believe it would work beautifully on your skin tone . I’m the lightest in Chanel as well with a warm , olive undertone & it works perfectly. I have used it on multiple skin tones from the palest to deep tan & it’s quite remarkable how multi-functional a product it is . Hope this helps . 😉
Would you recommend their CC cream underneath the new Les Beiges foundation? I’m struggling with redness and the foundation doesn’t quite cover it but I love the finish so much!
I really want to try the cc cream! I tried the Soleil tan de Chanel last weekend but it wasn’t the right tone for my skin. 😏 I’m a Chanel BR12 (winter) / BR22 (summer). I’m still in between shades right now so maybe I’ll give it another try when I’m a little more tan. Love this video btw!!

Erin You are so spot on. I have mature skin. I am a 72 year old natural blonde who is blessed with wonderful Swedish genes. At 95 my mother has beautiful skin. My late grandmother was awesome. I have used CHANEL since I was 18. I am fair allergic-I began using Sublimage since it debuted but all of CHANEL skincare is fabulous. Much of the Hydra I have used and gradually moved over to Sublimage. Here’s a hack. The Sublimage skin freshener spray is $200 USD with 3 refills when you purchase. I held off because I had used the Hydra @ $90 USD since its debut which preceded the entire Sublimage line. Before that I used Perrierrr water spray. I have just purchased the Sublimage but I started my teenage granddaughters with the Hydra line More affordiable. This is long I am sorry. I will share Le Lift line experience another time. Keep up the good work. Every thing you reccomend I usually purchase. On this video I passed as I am totally bored with the whole Les Beiges Collection & have the same colors in other palettes which I can use to duplicate this palette. Awesome lady. Loved finding you! Yes! If you want glowy skin I mix in the liquid illuminator with my foundation and a small amount with my concealer as well, that way you maintain the glow! Xx
I ordered the cleansing oil. But from the site perfumetrader.de. I live in the Netherlands. I also order from chanel.com but it is much expensive. Chanel is such a luxery brand. it gives me that feeling. But i also love Estee lauder. Do you Erin?
Yes it’s great for dry skin! It has hyaluronic acid to help plump and retain moisture. It’s ideal for normal to dry... even oily can wear it but probably not as main foundation :)
I like this video a lot... But... Don't think Chanel skincare is good ! Because Chanel usually put a lot of parfum ( so their is alcohol ) and put chemical products that are bad for your health ( it's the same for the other brands like Dior ). They don't really work on the formula etc... They just work on the packaging, on the texture of the product and they put parfum because people are gonna think it's healthy and it's a good skincare just because it's smell good... Anyway girl I hope you're taking what I said seriously 🙂 it's for your health and the health of your subscribers. 😁❤️❤️ Love and peace !
Is the loose powder too dark? I find that it goes on pretty light and translucent... but it would be nice to have more shade options just in case :) xx
I love the Chanel loose powder, it really is very silky and luxurious feeling. I have tried many many loose powders and none compares to how this one feels. You can really feel that it's a quality item. I've tried Laura Mercier loose powder and Chanel hands down.

I own 8 out of those 10 products! I laughed when you said the LeVolume mascara is a "gateway drug" into Chanel because that was so true for me. Even for something as basic as a mascara, I found it far superior than any other makeup product I'd ever used, and that got me curious about the rest of the line. My second purchase was the Soleil Tan Bronzer... and I was head over heels in LOVE with Chanel! My favorite summer perfume is Chance Eau Fraiche. My signature perfume is Chanel #22. The l'Huile Cleansing Oil is one of the most impressive skin care products I've ever used. I use it AM and PM. It's superb, and made my skin luminous right away. And the Sublimage products - it goes without saying that they are the most effective, luxurious and transformative products known to me.
The Sublimage is an incredible line :) I think for someone getting into Chanel skincare for the first time the oil cleanser is incredible, it wasn’t something I thought I would even like and I love it! Xx

I was actually sad when the video was over- it was so fun to watch!:)) I love the jacket you’re wearing. Also wanted to compliment you on that really classy jacket in the recent Tom Ford fragrances video. What brand are these pieces, if you don’t mind my asking? Absolutely gorgeous. I agree LeVolume is a cult mascara. I love the classic version much better than the Revolution. I don’t wear mascara daily, but if I do, LeVolume is the best. In fact, I wish their new colorful mascaras were in the LeVolume formula instead of the Revolution. My list of Chanel favorites & essentials is quite substantial (no surprise there 😆😆), but if I could throw in only a couple of things absolutely vital, it would be a nourishing lip balm from the Hydra Beauty line (the entire line is absolutely exceptional) and their relatively recent eye khols, those are smth, I don’t know anything like them & I adore them, they topped the potted cream shadows for me hands down. The cleansing line is awesome, you are right. L’Huile cleanser is fantastic, it unexpectedly got me into cleansing oils 😉 Cc cream is on my wish list; just got the new les beiges powder. You’re not nuts, I had my Juvederm retouched a few days prior to filming and they’re still a bit swollen... but to be completely fair, I’ve always had them done. My last treatment was several years ago though so it was time :) xx

Not a problem at all! The foundation shade is 30 :) I’m working with the dermatologist I use to create an informational video about fillers/Botox so that will be coming soon. It’s not for everyone and there are always risks, even if you go with a reputable physician everyone will have a different experience. For me personally, I love having my lips done and have done so for the past 4 years... Monday was my very first Botox treatment and last night I was asked for my ID while having dinner and drinks with my hubby so I feel like it already paid for itself 😂😂😂 Feel free to send me a DM on Instagram if you have specific questions :) xx

Ooh that’s a tough question! Pirate is the most popular, but 444 Gabrielle is the iconic namesake lipstick of Gabrielle Chanel and it’s a true red, very flattering! Xx

Hi Erin, I own a few of the pieces you have shown,, my favourite mascara is inimitable. I have one question, in my quest to find the perfect chanel red lipstick I have spent a fortune, do you have any recommendations, to avoid more costly mistakes, Ps fab video as always, see I haven't stopped watching x

Erin You are so spot on. I have mature skin. I am a 72 year old natural blonde who is blessed with wonderful Swedish genes. At 95 my mother has beautiful skin. My late grandmother was awesome. I have used CHANEL since I was 18. I am fair allergic-I began using Sublimage since it debuted but all of CHANEL skincare is fabulous. Much of the Hydra I have used and gradually moved over to Sublimage. Here’s a hack. The Sublimage skin freshener spray is $200 USD with 3 refills when you purchase. I held off because I had used the Hydra @ $90 USD since its debut which preceded the entire Sublimage line. Before that I used Perrierrr water spray. I have just purchased the Sublimage but I started my teenage granddaughters with the Hydra line More affordiable. This is long I am sorry. I will share Le Lift line experience another time. Keep up the good work. Every thing you reccomend I usually purchase. On this video I passed as I am totally bored with the whole Les Beiges Collection & have the same colors in other palettes which I can use to duplicate this palette. Awesome lady. Loved finding you! Chanel La mousse is my personal favorite and has been sold out for a while I just recently was able to get the cleanser on Neiman Marcus.com, l use a few of there other skin care products and love them. Thanks for the information video on these products .

Yes! If you want glowy skin I mix in the liquid illuminator with my foundation and a small amount with my concealer as well, that way you maintain the glow! Xx

Yes it’s great for dry skin! It has hyaluronic acid to help plump and retain moisture. It’s ideal for normal to dry... even oily can wear it but probably not as main foundation :)
I like this video a lot... But... Don't think Chanel skincare is good ! Because Chanel usually put a lot of parfum ( so their is alcohol ) and put chemical products that are bad for your health ( it's the same for the other brands like Dior ). They don't really work on the formula etc... They just work on the packaging, on the texture of the product and they put parfum because people are gonna think it's healthy and it's a good skincare just because it's smell good... Anyway girl I hope you're taking what I said seriously 🙂 it's for your health and the health of your subscribers. 😁❤️❤️ Love and peace !

Is the loose powder too dark? I find that it goes on pretty light and translucent... but it would be nice to have more shade options just in case :) xx

I love the Chanel loose powder, it really is very silky and luxurious feeling. I have tried many many loose powders and none compares to how this one feels. You can really feel that it's a quality item. I've tried Laura Mercier loose powder and Chanel hands down.

I own 8 out of those 10 products! I laughed when you said the LeVolume mascara is a "gateway drug" into Chanel because that was so true for me. Even for something as basic as a mascara, I found it far superior than any other makeup product I'd ever used, and that got me curious about the rest of the line. The l'Huile Cleansing Oil is one of the most impressive skin care products I've ever used. I use it AM and PM. It's superb, and made my skin luminous right away. And the Sublimage products - it goes without saying that they are the most effective, luxurious and transformative products known to me.
The Sublimage is an incredible line :) I think for someone getting into Chanel skincare for the first time the oil cleanser is incredible, it wasn’t something I thought I would even like and I love it! Xx

I agree LeVolume is a cult mascara. I love the classic version much better than the Revolution. I don’t wear mascara daily, but if I do, LeVolume is the best. In fact, I wish their new colorful mascaras were in the LeVolume formula instead of the Revolution.
My list of Chanel favorites & essentials is quite substantial (no surprise there 😆😆), but if I could throw in only a couple of things absolutely vital, it would be a nourishing lip balm from the Hydra Beauty line (the entire line is absolutely exceptional) and their relatively recent eye khols, those are smth, I don’t know anything like them & I adore them, they topped the potted cream shadows for me hands down.
The cleansing line is awesome, you are right. L’Huile cleanser is fantastic, it unexpectedly got me into cleansing oils 😉
Cc cream is on my wish list; just got the new les beiges powder.

I haven't heard anyone say that about the CC cream, usually it's too hydrating! Would you say you are really dry? I'm curious to hear what works best for you... you're right, the lipsticks are amazing :) xx

You’re not nuts, I had my Juvederm retouched a few days prior to filming and they’re still a bit swollen... but to be completely fair, I’ve always had them done. My last treatment was several years ago though so it was time :) xx

Not a problem at all! The foundation shade is 30 :) I’m working with the dermatologist I use to create an informational video about fillers/Botox so that will be coming soon. It’s not for everyone and there are always risks, even if you go with a reputable physician everyone will have a different experience. For me personally, I love having my lips done and have done so for the past 4 years... Monday was my very first Botox treatment and last night I was asked for my ID while having dinner and drinks with my hubby so I feel like it already paid for itself 😂😂😂 Feel free to send me a DM on Instagram if you have specific questions :) xx
