    Thanks SO much for this demo! It's helping me decide what to buy this week!👍

    Beautiful sounds. The solo cello is to die for, organs are nice and rich, and that cluster choir is pure Ligeti. Hope they update it to accept pitch wheel input from a controller. For something like the cello, it's a necessity to inflect notes just a tad from equal temp, or even to slide since there's no portamento. Good demo. Thanks, Doug.

    I just got it after years of looking at it. I have been watching a twitch streamer(alecmaire) making pro trailer music the last year or so and noticed these epic drums(shown late in the video) are like ones he uses. With the ipad pro I got a couple of weeks ago having more instruments is not that big of a problem also.

    Amazing...take my money
    Nice demo also 👍

    Beautiful sounds !! I wish so much I could use it live. Beaten by its unfortunate random polyphony dropping glitch rendering it useless.

      I was looking for someone mentioning this issue, because I was starting to think it was just me. (Using an iPad Pro and tested it on my Yamaha CLP-785 and CP88. Both instruments have an audio interface built in. But I think it only happens with the orchestral dreams, not with the other modules.

    That last one sounds like the flute intro to peter Gabriel’s ‘sledgehammer’

    Yo ! Doug, dude! WHERE's YOUR DREAMY SYNTHS VIDEO?? !! Looks to be right up my alley, but funds are limited... and besides; I've gotten into the habit of choosing most if not just about ALL of my iOS synth app purchases based on the 'Doug soundtest ' or 'Doug soundtest+shut up and play' videos- ...honestly 😉👍🎹
    You da man Doug!
    At any rate I do appreciate THIS and the Scarbee video, but I'll wait and look forward to Dreamy Synths. After all funds are tight, not to mention 1+ GB space needed in addition to the space already needed for Module in the first place.... but man. Well worth it- I love this app.

    I own Korg Module and I want to buy an expansion pack. At the moment I can only buy one pack, what could you advise? I'm doubting the most between this one, Orchestral Dreams and the Synthesizer Dreams pack and Triton. Thanks in advance. Greetings, Emiel.

    • @DonBrowsing
      @DonBrowsing 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Orchestral dreams. Triton played out. Synthesizers are plenty in Korg 2 modules included.

    • @TheSoundTestRoom
      @TheSoundTestRoom  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can’t actually use MODULE inside Gadget but there are Gadgets inside Gadget that play all the Module Sounds, although you do have to pay for them

    I skipped around in the video, so apologies if you've covered it. Is the 'Level 2' control meant for the level of percussive and accompanying elements?

    • @TheSoundTestRoom
      @TheSoundTestRoom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Xonethsoul 1 Do you mean the Level control on the right hand side of the app GUI, that’s just an overall level for the instrument, I don’t think the layers have an independent control

    • @x1thesoul172
      @x1thesoul172 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      thesoundtestroom it is a Control on the Left side, below the Resonance

      Pete Fort Hi, I'm not sure they do yet, I couldn’t find them earlier today but it is likely that they will update Gadget with these new ones

    • @leonlkowalski
      @leonlkowalski 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pete Fort: yes, they do. the sounds are not quite as good as, for example, isymphonic, but very usable.

      The isymphonic stuff on iOS sounds better but of course it also costs more.

    • @issiewizzie
      @issiewizzie 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      yap isymphonic but then i'm lucky also i have logic x as a daw also garage band

    • @SkillipEvolver
      @SkillipEvolver 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sheff Steel agreed. But, i did rather like how you can play two sounds together with this (one backed by the other). My faves in this video were Harp, Samurai and it's Cello. It looks fun to be able to hit harder and get instant reward with the orchestral crashing n stuff. Not a fan of the 'sped-up sampling' (not a technical term!) when you play a higher note though..

      ISymphonic is still the Queen
