Bang & Olufsen Beogram 4002 final video. Now fully fixed but perhaps further upgrades are in order

This was a 50 year service on this unit...
Really only few things went wrong in that time:
- It needed a new belt
- it needed a repair of a corroded PCB track (inside sensor arm)
- it needed adjustment of a bias for the first sensor amp transistor
- re-capping
- and a bit of lubrication to get rid of squealing during arm travel
- and maybe cleaning of limit switches
Great machine and if I ever wanted to get a turntable, it would be this or perhaps some other linear tracking unit like Revox or Sony (very rare).

He really worked it all out, has upgrades for replacing incandescent bulb with LED, remote control and other options.

Will do. Once I get some time to get to the sensing circuit repair. But in general, pull the platter up to remove it, clean the belt contact surfaces on both the platter and motor pulley and then install the new belt. The easiest way is to fit it around the platter while holding onto the belt (to keep it tensioned), hook the bit you're holding around the motor pulley and drop the platter into the bearing.
