Hello Diana! Your new hair style looks marvelous! The backpacks are really nice! How did that seam stitch get missed? 😮 You will fix it! It's so nice that your son wants you to make him a backpack for school! I love the peasant dress you're wearing. It looks comfy. I also like the idea of making your sons traditional shirts, that's so nice! I used to love doing embroidery projects. Framed, they make really nice gifts. Have a great weekend, and see you soon!
It's a short seam. Ladder stitch it. Not whipstitch. The ladder stitch will be invisible. The fabric is directional but chances are that if it is noticed, it would be perceived as an intentional choice. Having gotten the pattern (after seeing it on your video), I can't think of any place that it would be noticeable. Btw: love Charlie.
I do think the pattern is directional but I don’t think it’ll be terribly noticeable since it’s a very organic print. The embroidery kit is beautiful! Zelda Sews uses her husband’s embroidery projects in tote bags
Love your "new" hair! All your backpack makes and plans are great. I thought the fabric might be directional but I also think it's a judgement call and I also know that you might notice it and absolutely no one else would - when we make something we're hyper-alert to everything about it - most other people just think, "Oh, that's pretty," and then their mind moves on to the next thing unless something is so unusual it really grabs their attention or it's very obvious. My mother started me out embroidering on old pillowcases by drawing my initials with little x's to practice cross stitching and then I graduated to samplers and the other embroidery stitches - and I still embroider!
Your embroidery looks very nice. My husband has been hand embroidery everyday since Christmas. I bought him an embroidery set and it just took off from there.
Great video. Another fabulous flattering dress and a new flattering hairstyle! I think the fabric has a directional print but I'd say you can get away with it.
Loving your hair... it's beautiful.
Wow! Thanks!
Oh my word, your hair looks great 💞
Thank you so much! 😊
I LOVE your new doo!
Thanks!
Love that new hairstyle!
Thanks!
I watched all of 11 seconds of your video and thought I must make this comment. Wow! your new hair cut is fabulous.
Thank you!

Thanks! I love the short hair more than I thought I would.
Omgosh the lining of that red backpack is sooooo pretty.

I was worried about that. We'll see how it turns out. That is a great idea!
You're pretty anyway, but that new hairdo is gorgeous on you 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you so much 😊

I am having fun with my little flowers!
ALSO, love that dress on you...👍🏼
Oh thank you!!
I read someone's comment about your hair and it does look absolutely beautiful! I love your top. The colors compliment your haircut.
I stopped relaxing and coloring my hair in 2014 and I never look back! I love my natural silverish curly hair. I'm a proud grandma too.
Thank you so much!!
My hair is naturally wavy so I get some volume!

It is addicting!
Funny, that you say you don't mind looking like grandma, 'cause... YOU LOOK YOUNGER! Keep it short, this hair suits you so much more.
Oh thank you! 😊

I am thinking the same thing!
Gosh, have you been there a year??? It sure doesn't seem like it (from this end).
That's a great idea to make your sons a traditional top, so sweet.
Yes I have!
