  • In both traditional hospital and in-home acute care, family caregivers may be key members of the patients’ care team. Each setting presents its own challenges and opportunities for these care partners. The hospital at home movement has produced promising research and maintained steadfast attention on strategies to facilitate the best outcomes and experiences possible for all patients, both those with family caregivers and those without.
“Family First” explores the implications of the HaH model from the perspective of caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and advocates. It will highlights what we are learning from the science, as well as new tools and approaches that improve the experience of family caregivers and ensure HaH is appropriate for the broadest group of patients who need and want it.
