wow, that is so strange to see it from the air compared to on the ground , & seeing all that water , it was actually hard to work out where the river went after the lock , thanks for sharing .
it is a strange feeling seeing all your usual walking paths covered in water, and the isolated house past the pumping station overwhelmed by the flood. You see sheep on this side, up on the higher bank, but there are flocks of them and cows usually pasturing on the other side of the river, where there is now only water. They must be glad to be out of the rain! Anyway I think the water is starting to recede somewhat, slowly, slowly. I saw that the council sent workers to try and sort the flooding of the road Torksey -Gainsborough. The ground is saturated so it is a challenge to get the water moving.
oh, I see, it is at the start of the video! oops. The one on Saturday was by Torksey viaduct, the one on Sunday is around Little London retirement park in Torksey Lock.
brilliant footage - thanks for sharing

Thankyou, Yes a Big Worry
Building on a fllood plain then wonder why it floods hmm
in this area, the flood plain has not been built except for a few isolated instances, so it plays its part and floods very well 😄
How Nature intended. Man just gets in the way.💀
