A timeless song of praise, worship and gratitude to Almighty God. Akin Adebayo has been a pace-setter in christian songs in Nigeria. I have listened to all his songs over several decades and never get tired because of the divine messages contained therein.
Evergreen songs of Evang Akin Adebayo, reminds of my daddy who had all the collections of Imole-Ayo gospel songs. I remember waking up every morning to hear this music as a kid. It still ministers to me after many decades.👍
This was one of the songs I listened during my toddler age and growing up as a child. I could remember my dad always playing it on weekends and when driving me to school. My dad has a library of his albums. I thank God for this song. I so much love Akin Adebayo. I wish I have the opportunity to meet him. His songs made me cry then and even now as it makes me remember my childhood age, the level I was, the conditions then and how all seemed hopeless, my aspiration to the future, trying to prospect what it holds and hoped for something better and compare it to my present positions. Parents needs to consider what they do; I am sure my parents did not know I paid rapt attentions to the music when they played it then. The foundation laid matters a lot. One of his record I love again is "Tani Mape?". I remember when there was nothing but some cups of garri for a family to share and we will all manage. Little me would play the album on an old cassette player and cry inward hoping for things to change. I thank God today because if I was told I could be where I am today and my family could be where they are today, I would have doubted it. I would sleep and dream of bliss and wake up to the same condition. Thank God. God is faithful if we put our trust in HIM. I would encourage you to continue trusting HIM. You have no idea where HE is taking you; do not look at your present circumstances. You will be surprised! As long as there is still life, there is still hope. A fowl that did not die could still swallow corn one day. Joshua, God bless you for sharing this. God bless Akin Adedabyo too! And God bless us all. Amen!
