Thank you very much! My family owned rabbit when I was a child, but when we moved we had to give them up. Now I am an adult I want to support the rabbithaven, but my apartment does not allow any pets at all. Someday I will visit the rabbit haven group.
I purchased mine from Target also and some of them have big gaps in them. I have a holland lop and she can fit through them, so I put the smaller grids on the bottom.
Even if a bunny comes out of the cage daily, it still needs a safe cage if you are not going to be home or can't supervise the bunny. The best situation is a good condo and lots of free roam time.
tell her that you can buy cavvie cages from some pet stores wihich are plastic and are quite deeep our rabbits indoors for the winter and also that rabbits originated inspain and she may freeze
I hear you. Of course there are exception especially when you have predator animals or if you have a very destructive bunny and not a bunny proof area. If they have to be confined I prefer to see them in a room of theri own rather than a cage.
I agree but that is not possible for most poeple because they have other predator animals, I have cats for an example my cats do not really car about the rabbit but I can not keep even one eye away when I have my bun bun out.

@coldgus7s - coroplast - corogated plastic sheets, they use them to make yard sale signs. Most all sign shops have it or even lowes.

Guinea Pigs can get sore hocks. My rabbits like wire floor better. I tried bedding. Nope they like wire. They have a huge outdoor enclosure on stilts.
My family is not really handy is there a way we can buy a premade one?
