It's sad when a child loses their childhood due to a broken parent or parents. I am so proud of her zeal and determination to break the cycle of poverty.

As much as I love church and being a Christian. Churches in Uganda and Africa at large are part of the reason why our economy is so redundant especially in Uganda. People spend so much time in church instead of spending time gardening food to sell or even looking for jobs, inventing and creating. Instead people are praying against the spirit of poverty. There is no such thing as spirit of poverty.
I have enjoyed the interview. I admire her determination am sure @Sham-Tyra will go higher in fashion industry coz she is passionate with what she does.The sky is the limit.....wish you all the best gal🙏🥰looking forward to wearing one of her brands💃

Yah Tyra me too my mum treated me like her step daughter, making it worst she took me to my partenal aunt my goodness it was worst but l went thru and am proud of myself. Me l use to brow alcohol and marwa.
Crystal am ur religious follower but Shamz story is abit not flowing,, don't get me wrong I respect her hustle as a woman and also that shz coming from nothing. But me and others may be we didn't get to hear that turning point whr her bzns begun from zero to middle to boom,,I mean that gist of failure try again,again,again till to boom. All in all I hope she is in a better place mentally,,prayers 🤗
Yeah I agree, the moderator needed to ask the interviewer what or when was her turning point exactly.....the content between her hustle and made it is lacking or maybe is there a part 2? Did she live in the UK for some time? Just picking up on the accent?Great story 😇
Your mother created afashion designer out of you. And most parents with less income life gets to their head. Most people can testify. So just be grateful and mend that broken relationship with your mother cz your older now en know better

Me too l always said to myself am rich at heart not materialy and God has always been for me. God was and is my best friend, Dad, a brother an Uncle.
