We paid 200/-SAR to a regular taxi driver to go from Jeddah airport to Makkah three days ago. Then yesterday we came back to the same airport from Makkah by paying ride sharing service Jeeny by paying 108/- SAR. I was just wondering if there was a cheaper way to go to Makkah and your video was suggested by Google. Thank you for sharing.

Bangladeshi airlines land at other Jeddah airport... the taxi may cost SR 250 - SR 300... if you get Umrah Package from travel agent or nusuk.sa website you will get bus voucher.... Public bus service SAPTCO is usually not available at other Jeddah airport only available at terminal number 1.

But it will not drop you at hotel door

Walakum Salaam! Thank you for asking... In Jeddah airport Shared taxi is not always available...you have to visit Al Balad Saptco bus stop to get shared taxi....if your flight lands at terminal #1 you can use train (HHR)...
It depends upon your airline and arrival time.. if you travel on Saudi airline, Emirates etc ur airport will be terminal#1... Then you can prebook & travel by train HHR ... If your plane lands on other Jeddah airport then you have to travel by taxi that will cost you between SR 500 to 700 nowadays... You can also ask Umrah group buses to provide you a bus ride to Madinah if they are going towards Madinah.
Mostly travel agents provide bus voucher.... if you are coming without package Better you talk with other pessenger at airport and share taxi ride cost.
