Not that unrealistic tbh. My SIL gave birth last month and half an hour later she was walking around as if she'd never given birth. Sis took a shower, walked around the room with the babe and kept asking her nurse if they'd let her go home as she was okay and without pain, didn't need stitches, etc.
Women used to have their babies at home and start moving around/ doing stuff that same day in the past …. We are just used to the anesthesia, being able to rest comfortably…but we women are strong, stronger than what we would think

It really depends on many factors. Have seen women completely fine after birth, others struggling even months after.
