Maybe there are few people who think of Quality Management as the appealing end of Project Management, but it is truly important if you have a client to satisfy. Here's my overview of the discipline.

You can get capm/google certified without college but it seems almost all pm jobs require college, kinda catch 22

First, I'd say that whether you need college to get a PM job, depends a lot on where you are and the sector. In some places and sectors, there is a greater recognition of non-college experience. This is especially so for smaller organizations and local non-profits. Second, experience always trumps education in PM. Once you build some experience, people care less and less about education and certification. It's less about what qualifications you have and more about what you can do and have done.

Hello again. In my latest Organizational Management (OM) course, we are studying Alex Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur and their Business Model Canvas (BMC) that is popular in today's business world. Do you have any thoughts on their methodology?

My wife has the book, but I have not read it. I like the idea of simple one-sheet assessments for (a) appreciating the big picture and (b) ensuring you address all the key points. I see this as a great stepping stone, but rarely the end of the strategy/plan development story. I am not able to assess their particular canvas (I don't know it and don't have enough OM background) but I do celebrate the idea that they have made more widely known and used.
