Yes! So many good books coming out this year, I'm very excited! I can't wait for Tell Me I'm Worthless, Episode Thirteen, How to Sell a Haunted House, A House with Good Bones, Spite House, Pinata and now so many more! Breaking this up into three months at a time was prolly a good idea, lol. Great work as always! :)
Thank you! Yeah I got all the way through filming April and verbally said “I don’t want to do this anymore” so I figured it would be for the best 😅😂 no one needs a feature length film of anticipated releases hahah
She is a Haunting sounds amazing, a little hesitant since its YA but I'll watch for reviews. On my preorder list...Don't Fear the Reaper, How to Sell A Haunted House, The Villa, and Episode Thirteen.
I thought Mothered was a hoot, I had a lot of fun with it. And Tell Me I'm Worthless was the most unique, intensely unpleasant haunted house book I have ever read, which is a weird way to recommend something, but I think it should be read. The Villa wasn't on my radar until you mentioned it, so thank you for that!
This is an exciting list! I am really interested in Pinata. I actually prefer the seasonal releases since it paces the number of books I add to by TBR. My Goodreads Want To Read Shelf usually becomes a blackhole where I either pick up the books off my list or forget about them.
I'm excited about the Christopher Golden. I've read two of his stand alone books and one book in a series. I don't think his book Dead Ringers gets the love it deserves. No one I know has read it, but I really liked it. I think I'm in the minority of really liking Snowblind as well, but I did read it awhile ago (I gave it 4 stars) maybe it wouldn't hold up as well for me now.
@@ashleyslittlelibrary I finished it and I loved it. I do think that it will be one that people either hate or love. I can't decide how I think you'll feel about it... lol
Great list! Found a few new titles to add to my ever-growing TBR for 2023. I read an arc of The Writing Retreat and really enjoyed it. Perfect isolated winter read! A couple books on my radar coming out in February are Bright and Deadly Things by Lexie Elliott and The Housemaid's Secret from Freida McFadden, which is a follow-up to the Housemaid.
Well, that's four more books added to the list. Is it just me or is January STACKED with so many intriguing new releases? A few I'm stoked for are Everybody Knows by Jordan Harper, The Nightmare Man by J.H. Markert, and I Have Some Questions For You by Rebecca Makkai.
I'm currently reading The Blackhouse. Will finish it today. Started off strong, but I feel like the story is a little slow paced for my taste. Love the location and atmospheric writing, but I think the author is taking way too long to get to the story. I think it's because she shoehorned in a romance subplot which could be a positive or negative depending on the reader. But it's still good, just not amazing. One book that I have my eye on coming out in March is Red Queen by Juan Gomez-Juando which is a translated from Spanish. It's a detective thriller so maybe not your thing but I'm intrigued by popular fiction from other countries. I also just read Blaze Me a Sun which just came out. It's a Swedish crime novel and I enjoy how different it is compared to what I typically read in the genre.
that's exactly how I felt about Mirrorland from Johnstone! oh interesting! that could be a fun idea to try reading mystery/thrillers from other countries for a vlog 👀
The cover of The Villa 🤌 yes.
Im excited C.J Tudor’s new book. She’s an auto buy author for me because her writing is incredible!
Same here!
Excited for All Hallows, I like reading books that take place in my state lol
A good book by author Craig DiLouie is Suffer the Children. I loved it!
I knew that author sounded familiar I just couldn't place him! I've heard great reviews for that one

Ooh, She is a Haunting sounds so good! I'm excited for a lot of these!
Yass thank you!
So many good ones!! She is a Haunting is high on my list and The Golden Spoon sounds interesting!
The villa feels like a combo of big little lies (but between 2 friends) and flashbacks from Daisy Jones & The Six 🍋
Love that!

oh perfect! yes this makes it much more manageable all the way around haha

oh interesting! can't wait to try out his new book and see if he fits my style
I'm reading The Villa now! 100 pages in, it's very interesting so far, can't wait to see where it goes! The Drift is on pre-order!
Good to hear about The Villa!

Do u mean the quiet retreat?
@@dianebaum5194 No, The Writing Retreat, by Julia Bartz. It releases on 2/21, but I read the ARC and really liked it.
She is a Haunting sounds sooo good!
right?! I can't wait!

January is LOADED 👏🏻 I haven’t heard of the Harper book (the other 2 are loosely on my radar) I’ll have to check it out 👀
