I really like this play loop, however, i found that you have lots of misses due to bugs or the state of various ships. This adds a lot of time. Some ships that are supposed to have removeable components won't unlock (using keybind or menu system). Other ships arent comfigured yet for removeable compoments. But as you said, if you get good at scanning and know what you csn do with each ship, you csn be more efficient.
I try to do them every now and then so people don't get tired of them. Wish I could just do this every video, I love flying around looking at ships and taking their things.
This is also my favorite gameplay loop right now im using my Polaris and Vulture combo as a dry run for when the Ironclad assault come out. then with crafting ill add rare finds into my BMM shop, just wish they didnt nerf the weapon sells price to the ground though. At least 50% of original cost would be nice.
If you blow up the ship then you'll get a crime stat and I have opened up a few ships before that I thought was abandoned at bunkers and their owners came back...🤣 very awkward when all their components are on the floor and you got your tractor beam out.
this is part of the salvaging game loop they just haven't finalized it yet with better component sell prices ship siphoning for fuel etc. the potential is real especially when they going to let us fixed said ship and make they flyable again,
It's a pity that these kind of efforts are not lucrative. But I think the best approach to Star Citizen is to do interesting stuff. There are lots of mini adventures you create for yourself. And also lots of bugs in regular game play loops. The QA is really shoddy in this game.
Money sometimes feels worthless in Star Citizen. Once you get your main ship that you fly every day, money becomes a bit boring. We need some things to work towards, like special paints or components, or anything else they can come up with. I really liked what they showed for 1.0.
@@TheCoreGameplay This is a great observation, one which I've raised in the /Starcitizen reddit a few times in response to posters saying, "there's nothing to do." In an open world setting like Star Citizen where you can do anything you want and there's no pre-defined "goal" to get a certain status or defeat a certain villain (albeit this "game" does have that to some degree), the question becomes, "what should I do with my life." The first answer is always "make money so I can buy stuff." But once you've achieved that, what is there? And that's the same question people face in life: a) what can I do to make money to afford the things I want, and b) now that I've got the money, what do I do? And that's where game loops like this come in but there needs to be something to work towards. People need a purpose and they need a way to feel satisfied with what they spend their time on. I think SC is so far from having some kind of reward system in-game that it's going to be up to individuals to do this. The reputation system could potentially be worthwhile but again, it's so far out in the future, I don't know when it's going to be useable. Good video. I like the fact that you show the bad (repeated failed efforts) with the good as that sets expectations as to just how difficult and time-consuming this can be. Keep up the good work.
I flew into an invisible asteroid. Just got hit markers and boom so I spawned there because I was setting up to make a mining video. Then my ship loadout wouldn't save for only my Prospector 🤣 it was a rough day but at least I got a decent armor set
She is a bit slow, but she is a good ship if you want to move more cargo but don't really want to use a C2. She is just a step above the Taurus if you need the cargo, but she's too big for me. I like medium ships that have cargo capacity and some weapons. I'm trying out the Freelancer MAX at the moment because of this reason.
@@TheCoreGameplay For me the Taurus just has unmatched firepower to go along with the cargo. It so strong in that category, I've revamped my entire hanger. I got rid of all my fighters and freighters except my Cat (can't let it go, and hoping it gets the new Carrack cargo doors one day). Have an Arrastra and an Apollo Triage (one day Medivac). Have an MSR, Claimer, Tali, and an M50. Maybe one day I get the Hurricane back, maybe not if we get a lightening with SQ42....
Lets say you find and steal guns and components off other ships and attach them to yours manually with a tractor beam. Will they then save to your ship permanently?
You can store the components and just attach them in the mobiglass. Hit save. Then unattach 1 item hit save and attach that item again. Now when you die you should get everything back

Maybe patrolling them scrap yards with a vulture, might be worth the time and help other players land closers to the lift.
Love this core! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoy it!
Never thought of this before. I might give this a try next time I'm in the verse.

I love the ship you was flying the freelancer max
She feels pretty good for her size plus she can put a whole ursa in the back
Looks awesome! Always swing by brios I’ve found leftover Wheevil eggs laying around or in ship recks.
Ship scavenging videos from you are my favorite! Thanks for the new video! o7

Check out the outpost that sell the good for stage 4 of save Stanton. There have been a lot of ships around the outpost at Aril.
This is a pretty interesting idea frankly, never crossed my mind. I tough this would tag me as criminal.
Yea this is a pretty cool game loop. I just wonder about the time investment vs reward. But if it’s fun, it’s fun
@@TinMan445 I mean, ATM I just want an excuse to log in. I'll only worry about rewards (other than being bankrupt) after 1.0 and full persistance.

Logging out lol. Great video.
How can you tell if an abandoned ship is a player ship or not? is it worth bringing a vulture to salvage the ships?
freelancer max love, hell ya

Cru-L1 is the best station spawn😂 just assuming your there too because of the Armor set

Have you like use starlancer? it was great ship but bit too chunky for my taste. and i really like Taurus atm it's doing everything what i need.

Are you on an Aim-Bot? This seems a little too accurate to stay on your target while twist and tunr your ship. Or are you really that good?
I just gimbal my weapons so it's like a shooter but I do get slower fire rates. I do aim with mouse
Great video, thanks for putting it together. RLTW

The deadliest freelancer I've ever seen
How do you find these ships? :O
Visit common areas where you know a lot of players visit. You need some game knowledge to figure it out
Most BORING gameplay loop you mean.
have fun waiting for 6 hours for 1 pvp encounter on a moon
