- Ripping another Football Hobby box of 2022 Panini Contenders. We got this box for $230 and it promises 5 autographs (including 1 on card auto) 1 numbered card and a bunch of meh base cards. We did pull 6 autos out of our box so thats a plus. We compare that to the Singles purchases chuck has made recently off ebay for his personal collection!

I admire those that have the $ to buy the boxes but Chuck has the right idea, get what you want for your $. Gambling on boxes is fun and addictive til you hit the low afterwards with your box of fire kindling and $25 in value left

First off, Ed, that Fields spellbound is awesome!! Congrats on finding the D 😂 Although contenders is not my favorite product, I do love that some of the autographs are on card.
Karloftis auto and the on card, and the Donald #d card are nice, but I've gotta go with Chuck on this one. Lots of awesome Bears cards, so I'm a bit biased, but Chuck, those are sweet! Love them all! Love the vintage Bowman cards . That Butkus Pro action is great! I'm a fan of the Payton Topps archives. I have the chrome versions but not the others. I ought to start that set too. I've never seen those UD masterpieces. Great images. Love that card display on the wall! Great video guys!

So basically what Chuck is saying is if you are a set collector buy singles. ED on the other hand spends his money gives alot of his cards away to channel members in team bags and all the duplicates goes into Chuck's box. And that's why this is the best channel on TH-cam!!!! Love the new setup you jackass keep going strong

Chuck wins the battle! PC always wins over no name autos. Chuck I believe there is another Bears cards in Masterpieces, Butkus / Adrian Peterson card is very cool!
There’s actually 9 Bears cards in the 2008 masterpiece set, including the Butkus/Peterson. They released “previews” as inserts in regular upper deck, that’s what these are, card numbers start with MPP is the only difference. I’m working on the 9 Bears masterpiece cards as well! And I need the Butkus/Peterson, lol!

My best contenders pull was a Kyle Trask rookie auto /10 and it came from a pack of 2021 playoffs lol.

All panini has to do is add more numbered cards, so that each pack of contenders has either an auto or numbered card. That would make it way more worth it, but thats just a dream 😄

I get what you’re saying about just put the autos only and also what chucks saying about then there’s no set. Check out this years basketball contenders bc they did it right with it this year. Football should adapt the basketball setup

Where did you get these for $230? Best price I've seen has been $260, which feels a bit much for Tendies. I might consider trying one for $230...although even with the "extra" auto you got, I'm still not sure it's worth it. Hahahah! However, the Ed and Chuck "the Freak" banter is priceless! 🤪
