Original exhaust is just fine! You can tighten the mirrors so they don't move. For shifting, check the lever for tightness or consider changing to a different weight oil.
I have this motorcycle F800ST from 2006 and I can confirm the negatives are occuring for me as well, I miss gears quite often on this bike, my stock mirrors do move slightly even at city speeds, I need to figure something about about them, and indicators are bad, I gotten used to them, but I don't like them at all. I have a custom DominatoR exhaust for the bike to sound better. Other than these couple minor downsides, it's a really nice motorcycle
The most impressive thing is the mpg on it and sometimes the lightness but would like to try a 750VFR or Ducati ST4s for a bit more power and stability at faster speeds.
@@jwithabike1006 yeah the mpg is really good, in the city it's not so good for a broke ass like me 5.5L/100km (42mpg), but it can get as low as 3.9L/100km (60mpg) in travel speeds, which is amazing 😍
Update: I gotten used to the turn indicators, I changed my mind, they are amazing. Also I managed to go as low as 3.5L/100km at highway speeds which is amazing (67mpg)
I hope they're not 'rigger's boots' that you are wearing, as that would explain why you're missing gears and some bright gear might have alerted that car (in the first few seconds) of your presence behind him!

Are you using 15w oil? I noticed that this noticeably reduces vibrations.
@@Riding_Seoulless will try that

Funny you should say that, I never missed a gear when wearing those. What do you suggest I should wear then?
I got the GT 2017 and the gear still has the gear problem not common but annoying when it happens.
Nice bike, aftermarket exhaust not so much.
The stock seat is horrible
@@andreashedtmann2456 as in looks or comfort?
@@jwithabike1006 comfort
@@andreashedtmann2456 I’ve have done 4/5 hours without any problem.
You may have the factory low seat. Check it, it was on mine, I replaced with regular seat and it's much more comfortable.
@@ceesklumperthe previous owner was a female so it may have been the lower seat but wasn’t uncomfortable.
