My mechanic couldnt even find the cabin filter but i managed to do it following your video! Decided not to screw last 2 screws back in so I save time and hassle replacing it next time
I have seen countless videos of how they disassemble the glove compartment to replace filters in the Megan II, BS, just e move the small cover in front of the filter and remove the old. The new filter is scored to split in certain areas so it can be inserted into the filter housing without the loss of filtration.
I do this in the same way. Just a detail, you put new filter in upside down. But airflow arrow seems to be oriented correctly. I'd still recommend to reinstall it.
@@Leopardipzg the flap is supposed to be on top, closing a little triangle area in filter box. Other filters are specially shaped to fill that space. Not this one. You do not want any air flow around the filter...
At one pesimistic moment I thought I'll still need to remove glove box. However squeezing the filter and a little bit force helped finally push it in :D THANKS ! P.S. Buy cabin filter which has longitudal filter clots. One time I bought filter with crosswise filter clots - I almost destroyed it while inserting...
good video. I'll try to replace it next time like you did. I recommend buying a higher quality cabin filter for the car, e.g. Purflux AHA281 or Mann Frecious Plus. both have PM 2.5 they are a few euros more expensive, but you will breathe the air in the car through the filter for at least 1 year.
After removing old cabin filter. Let the ventilation run for a 3 minutes. Now all the debris and dust comes out. Then clean the inside with a vacuum cleaner. Then install the new cabin filter. Notice: install filter in the same flow position as the old cabin filter (see arrow on the side of cabin filter)
Are you insane? You will get very fine dust particles all over your interior, including the headliner and everywhere. You will never be able to get that out properly.

Who says that the flappy thingy needs to be pointing up? It's just a simple rectangle.

What type are the screws? In my car they are missing :(
Is the procedure the same for right hand drive models?
Damn, where were you for 7 years? 😁
Jel mozes snimit video kako detaljno napraviti dezinfekciju klime i s kojim preparatima?
Nemam praveno do sega dezinfekcija na klima, planiram za 2 meseca da napravam
Good video!
Please, vacuum your car!
That is very bad for your health - even if you change your filter regularly.
