Regarding Meguna Meguna: Did you say he was extradited to Dubai?? What exactly is his relationship to Dubai? These African Governments need to work on all their relationships to all the Countries in their sphere,,,, Their State Department should keep these records - independent of Politics,,, but as an accounting of diplomatic relations, a bank of such knowledge could help subsequent leaders to understand what relationships may be levied to help the Country move forward... and help determine who could be an ally in enforcing policy...
Also. If he came into Kenya as a Canadian, he will not be allowed to engage in any political activity because he is ostensibly an outsider. And that is why the Government does not want to facilitate his coming in using his Kenyan documentation.

He used to be intelligent until he showed his weakness. A soldier is soldier whether is raining or shining. He gave up on miguna. Miguna is my hero, so is M.L. king of u.s.a. so is Ghandhi of India... Times were not easy but went ahead & fought to what is right.
@@deniskk2 You have not followed what he said. Their point of depature was the handshake. Otiende was pro-handshake while Miguna was anti-handshake. Otiende stated clearly that he had no problem with that. They could hold divergent political views while maintaining amicable advocate-client relationship. But instead Miguna launched a string of insults against Otiende. Otiende, among other advocates were offering free legal services, PRO BONO! Miguna mistakenly thinks that he is everyone's cup of tea! Otiende did the right thing by dropping him like burning coal. He is just an ungrateful parasite. Some kind of a human leech.
what you don't understand. Miguna miguna is not fighting for his personal gain. Free or PRO BONO services is irrelevant to the value of what Miguna Miguna stands for today. you must look at the big picture. As far as i see mr. otiende is a weak man dispite his king's English. if you follow the news, the hong-kong people are fighting the same principles except they are in two different locations.
@@deniskk2 But there was no exchange in services for Otiende to balance the value of his legal services to Miguna against Miguna's services to God-knows-who. Miguna had a brush with the law and Otiende found him to be a difficult client to work with. He has stated that much. Why should anyone expect Otiende to bear the pain and misery of working with a difficult client who had attracted his troubles to himself and goes around throwing tantrums like a baby, even insulting his own advocate? Miguna is not everyone's cup of tea. He irritates many people with his juvenile tantrums. What surprises me is that Otiende was able to put up with the tantrums of this hulking, bald headed, barrel chested, ill-mannered 60 year old Canadian juvenile from Nyando for so long. Otiende must be a very tolerant man. Miguna is a leech. Just another parasite.

I personally think the reason for refusing Mm to enter Kenya with a Kenyan passport has a catch in the political arena. If he uses Canadian passport, they want to brand him their citizen so that he cannot engage in any politics in Kenya.They confiscated his valid Kenyan one for no reason & said that he denounced his Kenyan citizenship. It’s a ploy.I’m not his follower neither his lawyer but from what I gather the gov’t is wrong to disobey a court order.
Firstly there is no debate as to whether the govt was wrong or right in disobeying a court order. It was wrong. But that does not take away anything from the fact that Miguna acquired his confiscated passport fraudulently. He acquired the Kenyan passport at a time the Kenyan constitution prohibited dual citizenship. That's a fact regardless of how you choose to interpret it.
@@georgeodhiambo598 Agreed. Also, the current constitution states you have to apply for reinstatement by filling out the relevant forms. The dual citizenship forms. MM has flatly refused to do so. This requirement is stated clearly on any Kenya Embassy website.
If he uses the passport he has to apply for Visa like a Foreigner and pay for Visa, he is only allowed to stay in Kenya in a limited time

So "the passport" means Canadian passport. Is that too hard to understand? And Miguna has used his Canadian passport before to gain entry into Kenya. If he uses his Canadian passport, he will gain entry as a Canadian, and for that purpose he will require a Kenyan visa which is available at JKIA for Canadian passport holders, among others. Lets not throw basic logic out of the window as we discuss Miguna and his theatrics.

The court determination was that Miguna is a Kenyan citizen so he doesn't need to file anything to regain Kenyan citizenship. The gov't needs to return his valid passport as ordered by the courts. Is it the AG who decides on disputes or the court? If I was Maraga, I would suspend any business with the gov't and dismiss all governor's cases on corruption until all court orders are obeyed. Maraga is weak and is causing the judiciary to be trodden upon by Uhuru and the goons he has placed around himself. Maraga should grow a pair and if he must go down...go down for fighting to uphold the constitution and judiciary process. King Kaka was right, amnesia is real. ***Wanjiga nyinyi***

@@QueenAkoth2024 Have you ever heard of the saying that two wrongs dont make a right? Citizenship is not determined by whether one has been allowed to vie for governorship or not. It is determined by the constitution and more precisely, Chapter 3 which talks about nothing but citizenship. Focus on Article 14(5), because that is what describes Miguna's messy situation. Once you read and digest that Article 14(5), then you will know why Miguna is not a citizen, and how easy it is to regain his citizenship. Read and understand it before you proceed with the discussion

John Yara Actually somebody asked him for his exact location and he twitted the airport and flight number and that they were about to take off. Immediately his luck took a dip, the plane which was taxing took a turn around and Miguna was ejected and escorted back to the waiting lounge. It's good he twitted though ppl have been poisoned on board planes. He has to be cautious.

Yes. There are no issues with his Canadian passport. There were issues with his confiscated Kenyan passport. He acquired it when the constitution prohibited dual citizenship.

What I am telling you are in the Constitution and if need be, we can have a discussion after you have read the Constitution for yourself. The constitution even describes how those who lost their citizen on account of taking the citizenship of another country during that period can regain it! Our courts stand suspect. If the govt had chosen to obey court orders on Akasha, the drug lord would still be a free man right here in Kenya. The courts are complicit in alot of ill taking place in this country. The Judiciary stands accused! Why was he allowed to run for Governorship earlier? I don't know and that's a different question touching on very many individuals. Just read the Constitution for yourself. There is a Chapter on citizenship. Read it for yourself and let's debate thereafter.

I have also gone to the TZ embassy in Nairobi and obtained a visa there to enter TZ. So i know what i am talking about. So SHUT UP and take notes when your superiors are talking. And by the way, US dollars are accepted globally in all embassies ha ha ha!!

If MM tried to enter Kenya without his kenyan passport the immigration officers in Kenya may not grant him entry because of his righteousness. On the other hand if they allow him to enter the country, he'll be given a visitor's visa which will restrict him from participating in local politics which he has a right to do so like any other kenyans, including Raira and Uhuru. MM was illegally kidnapped, abdupted from his home and removed from the country. He DID NOT leave his home country voluntarily simply because he wanted a FREE, FAIR, AND CREDIBLE ELECTION for all Kenyans. He is apolitical activist fighting for what is best for all Kenyans. Raira Uhuru Ruto despots are only serving their own personal political intetest. They don't care about the economy or how many people are unemployed. In fact they don't give a shit about how many ordinary Kenyans die or go without food. Not forgeting the hospitals are in a shit hole. Doctors and nurses don't give adam about patients. In fact public hospitals look like awar zones. There are not enough doctors and nurses to run the hospitals. People are despetely crying for change. Which advocate would go around representing a client who spends the better part of his life throwing insults at the advocate? Being an advocate is a profession. It is not a hobby. An advocate doesn't have to be in agreement with his client politically. A client has no business in forcing his advocate to pick a particular political alignment over another. Are you in the habit of asking your doctor whether he/she supports BBI or not before he treats you? At a personal level, do you require that your advocate must be of one political persuasion another before he/she represents you? Not everything is politics. There is life beyond politics.
