I Like This Song That Is Called Swimming Pool Summer By Capital Cities And It Is So Much Relaxing To Me Because You Can Play This Relaxing Song At A Nightclub Or At A Fourth Of July Party In The Summertime.
Can anyone recommend to me any other bands that have a certain feel to this? (In my own articulation of words that may or may not be correct) It feels like a funky, synth-y feel that I’m just starting to realized is what I’ve loved about Capital Cities this whole time and would like to further explore.
Some of Daft Punk's music gives me a similar vibe. Also just discovered Bag Raiders. Their song Sunlight reminds me of some Capital Cities songs, but I haven't heard enough of their stuff yet to recommend them. Same with the bands TWRP and Siames. I'd love to find more bands like Capital Cities, but sadly haven't seen anything quite the same or as good yet
I feel the same. It’s sad that they don’t release a lot of music, mainly just 2 albums in a span of 10 years. But their sound is SO addicting and catchy, I play their albums on repeat every summer. Aside from Daft Punk, I don’t know any other bands that have this kinda sound it’s literally so perfect and I simply just want more 😭
