    Hello,
Indeed, it is basically the way I started. 5 all grain kits (4 liters), then 3 smash, stout... And I am now around 45 brews.
And I confirm I still love smash, for simplicity, taste...

Awesome! smash beers are so good! I've not do one in a while, but I'm keen to do one soon!

Good video, what is your take on Kveik across different beer styles. Porter as an an example

I've tried both Kveik Lutra and Voss on lots of different styles, including a few porters and found it great! Some of my best beers ever have been Dark beers with Lutra. I think it's capable of working with almost any style!

@@Kveiksmithdaryl great to know, will give it a go on a coffee porter. Will try Voss as I believe that has one of the lesser taste additions

A very informative video Daryl, Iast year I switched from extract kits, to part grain from Dark Rock Brewing, and now brew all grain kits from Malt Miller, Dark Rock and Worcester Hop Shop with some fantastic result. I brew using the BIAB method and I'm happy using the kits, but interested in trying some of my own concoctions/recipes. Do you use one of the recipe builders, beer Smith I believe is one of them or do you go with what you think. With a smash beer what are the best malts to use, most of the kits I use have a grain bill of between 4 and 5kgs for a 23L kit. I love East Kent hops, Dark rock do an East Kent gold beer which I love.
As for the Keivik yeast where do you get your dry version from, I've only been able to find Mangrove Jack's and it's not the two you normally use. I've tried liquid yeasts in the kits I've purchased and unfortunately the results were very disappointing, my fault that the kits I'm sure.
When you save your yeast do you store it at ambient temperature or in a fridge.
    Thanks in advance Michael

Hi, great questions! I use beersmith for my recipe building. The most success I've had with SMaSH beers is when using Maris Otter, though I've heard good things about golden promise. I got my dried Kveik yeast from The Malt Miller. I store all my liquid and Kveik yeasts in the fridge. I also put my dry ones in there, but that's more of a storage thing rather than being necessary. EKG is such a great hop, recently made a bitter using it which I was very pleased with!

@@Kveiksmithdaryl Cheers Daryl, when I've made my remaining kits I'll definitely try a smash.
