This was a commission for a friend of mine on Ponygram! It was created as a storyboard for an animation that came out really amazing, however I’m not sure it’s posted anywhere anymore.
Song is “Nothing Left to Lose” from Tangled the Series. I do not own the song!

I was like "wait i recognize this oc" AND THEN READ IT WAS FROM PONYGRAM SO NO WONDER 😭
I know that's Sunset Shimmer, but who's this other character? It looks like the unknown character is wearing King Sombra's armor.

Reminds me of Daybreaker (Nightmare version of Celestia) which would be fitting for SUNSET shimmer
Prince Silhouette. He's from a now archived ponygram account of his life as Celestia's kid.
Summary from what I remember and was implied ->
He felt like he was in Twilight's shadow as Celestia seemed to favour her over him, especially with Twilight being Celestia's next in line of the Throne. After a comment Twilight makes on Silhouette's birthday, he loses it and uses dark magic. Celesita grounds him in his room, and his advisor manipulates him into feeling worthless. We didn't get to find out what happens afterwards, but I presume this leads to him lashing out and starting an invasion of Equestria.
I think he was implied to be Sombra's son, too with Celestia forbidding him from ever using it (hence the Sombra like armour in the animatic)
EXTRA NOTE
Sunset was Silhouette's childhood best friend before she went through the mirror and he has bitter feelings after said event.
