His trash arm can't cash cheques his gigantic ego writes, this joker truly believes he's elite, absolutely DELUSIONAL. The browns released him today. What an absolute snake. Not even good enough to be the third qb. Great job browns.
I'm a Mac fan, but I've got nothing against Zappe, he deserves praise for his good play against the Steelers and the Broncos this past season, and he did decent in his starts in 2022 as well (albeit against horrible defenses). *HOWEVER*, something that I absolutely can not stand is the fact that there are people out there who wholeheartedly believe that the Pats could have been a playoff contender if Zappe started every game over Mac, which has got to be some of the most absurdly dumb crap I've ever heard, and makes zero sense if you actually watched the games; - Zappe got SUPER LUCKY in the games against the Steelers and Broncos (Having multiple would-be interceptions dropped by defenders, getting a super short field from a Peppers pick, Zeke preventing a pick-six and the Steelers failing to score any points off the turnover, and the Steelers basically ended the game for themselves when they tried that deep pass on 4th and 2 after the 2mw instead of just getting the first down. In the Broncos game, after Zappe fumbled the ball not even 5 seconds into the game and the Broncos recovered it on the 9 yard line, they failed to SCORE A SINGLE POINT off of it due to a combination of great defense and pure offensive idiocy. We also can't forget that refball may have played a part and gave the Pats that fumble recovery where it looked like the Denver lineman had it, Mims fumbled the ball on the kick return and the special teams got a TD off of it, and Parker ACTUALLY caught a deep pass which allowed Ryland, the worst kicker in the league, to actually kick the game-winning field goal). Even with all this good fortune going Zappe's way, the Pats still barely won those games by 3 points each. In contrast to the games Mac started, the Pats would have a ton of bad fortune go their way and they'd barely lose. It's scary how people fail to realize this. - It's also been said that Zappe is better than Mac because the offense "plays harder" for him than they do for Mac and that he made everyone "look better". The team should never "play harder" for one QB over another, they should always play hard to win regardless of who's slinging it, and even if they did, that is WAY MORE of a detriment to the whole offense than just Mac, because that tells me that they are ALL mentally broken, and needing someone else to come in and motivate them to play harder isn't something they should be subjugating themselves to. It's also impossible for me to confidently think the team looked better with Zappe playing, because he was sacked more in less games behind the same crappy o-line Mac played behind, and terrible receivers like Parker and Reagor catching Zappe's off-target deep passes doesn't convince me either, because those guys couldn't catch Mac's well-placed deep passes to save their lives. If those guys actually looked better with Zappe throwing to them, then why did the same people clamoring about it never give Mac any praise for "making" Pharaoh Brown look really good for a few games? Brown didn't drop a pass ALL YEAR until Zappe started throwing to him, yet the idiots kept their mouths shut, I wonder why... Additionally, some also believe that Zappe would've made for a great mentor/bridge QB for whoever the Pats would draft, not quite as outrageous as the former claim but still very delusional regardless. I'm super happy they got Brissett for that role and drafted both Drake and Bazooka Joe, and the further down Zappe is on the depth chart, the better.
My thoughts exactly. Thank you Zappe for the wins you got us, but you cannot be on this roster anymore. He was horrific outside of the Broncos game and Steelers first half. The drafting of Joe Milton confirms that he is gone. We are of course not keeping 4 QBs, but even on the practice squad I think Milton is enough that we don’t need to keep him there. Hopefully another team wants him so he doesn’t have to go to the XFL, but that is where he belongs.
@@kevinandersonjrtv4405 Admittedly, that is a GIANT stretch, ever hear of Jamarcus Russell or Isaiah Wilson? Zappe's terrible but he's not THAT terrible.

My first video since the drafting of Drake Maye is me making fun of Bailey Zappe! Enjoy!
