I know this wont be common. But does anyone know how to get SNC 2.0 to work with 46C?
Right now we use SNC and to get it to work all we have to do is install DLL's on the clients and register them. Input SNC name in user profile and insert SNC name in client and all is well. SSO works.
Here's the problem I'm running into. If I update the client to 770. Needed to gain 64bit RFC (the goal) then the settings are grandfathered in and they still work. All is well. However if I remove the SNC setting from the client (for example, needed for me if I ever have to login with SAP*) then when I go to turn it back on it wont let me because it complains there is no SNC service installed.
Then of course if I install SNC 2.0 with the client all heck breaks loose and SNC blows up. I'm guessing I'm just stuck manually altering the ini, or I guess XML client property files but I figured I would ask around.

How can a certificate be created? Which tools can be used?

Hi Alex, in this case I used SAP Secure Login Server. A small SAP application that runs in a JAVA stack which contains a advanced PKI system that also allows certificate creation and signing. You can also do it by hand using OpenSSL, easy-rsa or dogtag. Have fun.

Click on the gear wheel at the bottom right and simply increase the resolution. 🤗
