We hope it works out for Ghana.
Nigerian entertainment success is giving Africa a wakeup call.
Nigerian artistes are packing venues in the US, UK, India, Caribbean, etc. Ghana is insignificant.
When Ghanaians say foreign music, they mean Nigerian music. They wouldn't complain if the DJs played 50cent and Drake all day.
They're definitely cowards and unfortunately tomorrow they'll start screaming Africa must support Africa... bunch of comedians
That’s not entirely true there are literally amapiano night events all over Accra and American music is also big here. Ghanaian music is literally just played 1% in Ghana. They aren’t against Nigerian music because it will forever play in Ghana but also play Ghanaian songs aswell there’s nothing wrong here. Nigerians swear Ghanaians are against them Eii 😂😂😂
That's ur mind... you know nothing
@@KK-if3un
Continue to deceive yourself, my friend.
You are well aware that South African Amapiano receives less than 1% airplay in Ghana simply because no one in Ghana is familiar with any of those acts.
The only Amapiano in Ghana is the Nigerian version, which you refer to as Foreign Music.
So, whether you choose 80-20,
70-30,
50-50,
or any other ratio to play Ghanaian music, this approach has long since grown outdated or expired and has become counterproductive in today's modern music listening pattern and ecology, as you will discover in the coming days.
This is by far the least problematic aspect of Ghana's music industry.
@@KK-if3unbro Nigerians aren't saying you shouldn't project your culture or support it. Why Nigerians are sad is that it is very obvious this is a campaign against Nigerian music in the sense that hip-hop, reggae, dancehall , R&B has been playing in Ghana for decades and we never hear such campaign but this campaign started only when afrobeats from Nigeria became popular.
The problem now is that this agenda will most likely fail because Ghanaians and Ghana music industry need neighbouring countries to succeed because they don't have what it takes in terms of population and financial strength.
Ghanaians suddenly developed interest in music as soon as they see Nigerian music success. This whole conversation is not sincere. It’s all based on envy and entitlement. Ghanaians always feel like they deserve everything Nigerians achieved. What a brothers
Bhahahahahahahaha. Pay the Ghanaians no mind. Ghanaians have no business whatsoever with music and entertainment. They should rather concentrate more on their cocoa farming.☝️
stop this talk. there is room for everyone
So Ghanaians never did music in the past Eii u people are very interesting… 😂😂😂

The biggest connect Blacko has in the music industry was when Burna featured him and he went International. Forget Blacko is cancelled in Nigeria. He is DONE
Blacko didn’t beg Burna for featuring, Burna hop on that music cuz he want to tap a blessing you know how we Ghanaians hype Blacko, Una dey act as if Nigerian be record label, which kind energy be dis now
@@BelindaMidori . You no get sense bro. Grammy award winning singer wants blessing from up coming, what cheap weed did you smoke? na stadiums burna dey do. Blacko cannot even do the Jumior 02 arena of 2000 people. Burna did 70k in Germany last week. Ghana is too small to compete with Nigeria. Blacko is gone, make you guys look for another musician

Has Ghana banned the Mexican telenovas translated to twi that's always on your TV screens? Nigeria will return the favor.
Envy is what is killing Africa. the bitterness from some Ghanaians is really shocking. Nigeria should return the favour.
Totally Agree! Nigeria has to retaliate!
😂😂to be honest dear Ghana is too small for us to be returning any favour to….Nigeria music is global now….secondly Nigerians generally we are music lovers,we will always choose the best songs among them and throw away the rest of their trash….we are too big to starve ourselves of good music
Oh really didn't Nigeria take initiative of banning playing foreign songs in movies, concerts, TV and other plao. So what's wrong if Ghana wants to take that initiative?
@@myztroogeegibson3568 no we didn’t…if you say we did then drop the source of your information let me research on it….we don’t ban songs we accept songs…we love good quality music
Ghana is probably the most pan African country in Africa, we love all music from everywhere, however currently it’s just 1% of Ghanaian music that’s playing in Ghana so their advocacy is for more play that’s it.
Knowing Ghana & Ghanaians for who they are, they will soon start beefing amongst themselves over this agenda and before you know it...let's see a couple of weeks down the line😀
BTW, Ghanaians need to stop saying Congo DRC is a small country.
The country as at 2021 had a population of 95.89 million people, while Ghana was 32.83 million.
The country size is approximately 2,344,858 sq km, while Ghana is approximately 238,533 sq km, making Ghana 10.17% the size of DRC.
Ghana however has a larger GDP and GDP per capita.
The point however is Congo DRC is a bigger country compared to Ghana.
You didn't get what he was trying to say that. Though Congo being small it's music is popular beyond Africa.
BETTER go open your own pubs and lounges and tell the Djs to play all ghana, who are the people spending the money and which music does the people vibe to, on the street, make good music people will vibe to it,it will cross borders not having one hit song once a year.
That’s it! Their music is trash! When it’s good we will listen
Congolese 🇨🇩 music is absolutely better than Ghanaian music 🎵.
Fact
Facts
Say it again with loud chest my brother 🇳🇬
@@ayk6051 + Congolese 🇨🇩 music 🎵 is extremely authentic and original as supposed to Ghanaian music which is unoriginal, uninspiring, wacky and boring. Local Ghanaian champion musicians 👩🎤 are just Nigerian wannabes.☝️
Even Ivory Coast and Tanzania honestly. Ghana has not produced their own sounds since azonto 10 years ago, they're now doing dancehall, rap and nigerian type afrobeats😂
Ghanaians go explain tire in jesus name, NO EVIDENCE.
Amen
Nigerians are largest streamers of Ghana music. Envy will destroy Ghana
When you were playing American, Jamaican, Congolese and South African music endlessly, you didn't complain but because Nigerian music is shaking the world you exude jealousy, envy and hate. Shame on you all!!!!
Ghana obviously can not compete. They wish they could stop all countries to stop playing Nigerian music
We shall see. Don't complain later ooo
They finally complained cos they aren't going to portugal😂
The young men who participated in this Hate-Fest have essentially destroyed their careers. They have restricted themselves to only Ghana stage, and excluded themselves from Nigerian and world stage.
Watch the Ghanaian Music Industry fizzle out like their Movie industry counterparts with this hate fest
This is a classic case of a typical timid African mindset, which is to only compete against themselves. Ghana is your typical example of how a jealous neighbour operates. I am glad this is happening anyway. This can be the eye opener and a wake up call for many Nigerians still in connection or involved in any capacity with these demons. This must be an eye opener for Burna, Wiz , Davido and many more of our artists who continue to engage these Ghanaians. Bankulli gotta watch this also and drop his affinities with that village eediat Shatta Wale. Omor, see Black Sheriff wey Burna carry feeding bottle 🍼 dey feed 😮. Omor , 9ja wake up.
You nailed it... thank you

Black Sherrif blow in Ghana and Africa (with massive views on TH-cam) before Burna heard and did a “Remix” with him. I think Burna intentionally even did that because of his beef with Shatta Wale back then so to prove a point that Nigerians do support Ghanaian artists. Shatta Wale & Stonebowy were part of the reason Davido’s fan base in Ghana increased. R2bees also were the reason Wizkid’s fan base increased in Ghana. So we supported your artists more. A lot of underground artists in Naija actually came to push their songs in Ghana before they blow in Naija. Mr Eazi’s career actually took off from Ghana before Naija claimed him. You Nigerians didn’t appreciate Burna till he came to stay with Shatta Wale in Ghana and got more fans. But today you Nigerians wana act like we Ghanaians never helped. We can’t be the only ones doing the support. Lol
In the future i forsee this ghanian music fizzled out, in the future i forsee ghana blaming nigeria for their downfall. I forsee them coning to beg nigerians. King promise terminator will not have blown if not for nigeria support, gyakie, blacksherif, kidi, sarkodie etc music will not have been popular without nigeria. Your hatred towards nigeria is becoming something else.
The world has gone past what you guys are proposing.
Who is the best artist she said is from Ghana?😅😅😅😅
We need to give Ghana a distance enough is enough because when a Nigerian become prosperous it's become a problem for Ghanaians

Like Stonebwoy submitted his album to Grammy Committee, Ghana should submit the names of their football players to FIFA, so that Ghana will be awarded the world cup trophy.
Using cony cony to say foreign music, it’s a lie, it’s Nigeria music they mean. It’s difficult to satisfy a Ghanaian even with support from Burna, Wizkid and davido
Good luck to ghana
You guys want your music to go international, but at the same time you are restricting your music space, How does that work ?
Ghanaina should know note this. If your artist produce good music people can vibe to, there will be no need for this Bla-bla-bla y'all speaking on Air.
How many Hit song does Ghana artist produce in a month ?

Let's start the agenda.

Story , story , stories. Nigeria has gone. Close ur country door and u will be closed to the world. Hv stopped listening to Black Sheriff and will promote shut down of his music around me. Nigeria never had any 70/30 thing. Stop ur false narrative. Terminator was produced by Nigerians and promoted by Nigerians .
Is killbeatz now a Nigerian? 😂😂
I've deleted all his songs in my phone
I've deleted all his songs in my phone
Hiphop is America
Reggae/ Dancehall is Jamaica
Amapiano is South Africa
Makosa is Congo
Ghana is Hiplife (from Hiphop)
Nigeria is Afrobeat
Interestingly, I initially thought King Promise was Nigerian due to his style. However, aside Hip-life and High-life, Ghana artist do various genres, including Jamaican Dancehall style, as evident in the music of your biggest prominent artists like Shatta Wale and Stone Boy. So, it's puzzling that Ghanaians haven't raised concerns about other countries' genres but are now objecting to Nigeria's Afrobeat, especially since it has gained global recognition.
So it is possible to watch Ghanaian conversation without hearing TWI language being spoken in the course of the discussion (Sorry, only the Papa did not get the memo). This is the first and rare occurrence in most Ghanaian broadcasts. Nice job, place keep this up.
Why would Ghanaians say our Ghanaian music isn't good...challey dis be serious oo
Congolese music is better than Ghanaian music.

I’m so glad that our A list artist chose to ball in Lagos for this December instead of Ghana. Ordinarily over 1m dollars is being denied into the Ghanaian economy, we are no longer coming to Ghana. Ghanaian are becoming hostile to our artists
Why is that when we Ghanaian are fighting for our rights and you Nigerians think we’re fighting y’all, Omo play your song to the world make we enjoy wanna Ghanaian music in our house too that’s a big problem
