@@gumerasgarage5328 if I use my test light on the relay connectors I'm getting the grounded connections that I expect to get when I turn on ignition power.
@ichheibeangel First, you have to empty & vacuum the system. Then you start the engine, and the compressor should be off at this moment, but as soon you fill up the system, the pressure builds up, and the compressor should be on. If not, there's a problem
Thank you
The video shows a cool way to test the Thermal Protection Switch.
You're welcome, and thank you for watching
Hello. i have a 1994 civic. if the ac compressor stays engaged all the time. could it be this thermal switch?
Probably your ac relay is grounded, faulty, or ac switch

@@gumerasgarage5328 could it possibly be the AC pressure switch?
.. the clutch disengages only when I press the AC power button.
@1776FreedomNow probably you have a problem with the ac switch . Try turn it manually to make sure
@@gumerasgarage5328 turn the AC compressor pulley/clutch?
after you replaced it, how did you get freon on the car? did you trick the AC clutch?
You have to get the tool for ac to fill up
@@gumerasgarage5328 yeah I have the gauges to do it. but my question was, did the AC clutch have to be working to fill the freon or nah?
