The british ships don't have shorter barrels, they're the same length, the breech is further back

The issue is still present on 4 barrel turrets, such as on the King George V and the brilliantly designed Dunkerque.
The King George V had minimal changes between 1/4 and 2/3, though there was still a very small setback in the guns.
The Dunkerque fixed the problem by spacing out the guns, effectively making 1 turret a pair of 2 guns. It was also compartmentalized to prevent any damaging blow to disable every gun and kill all working crew.
There's a very large reason why 2 gun turrets were used for so long, and why the Gangut class in its entirety only fired 3 salvos... And hit 2 estimated shots of said salvos.

The barrels of those British cruisers are not shorter. The gun and breach are physical moved further back in the turret.
Fun fact: if you use the Italian language the kill message will actually be "crew is dead" (equipaggio morto) instead of "knocked out"

Not on some maps. Now I admit I haven't played War Thunder in a bit, but I remember distinctly when I played some low tier last time that the ground forces targets were crossing unmarked bridges. Bombed the bridge, and the whole coloumn stopped.

the gun stabilizer button used to be important as turning it on would slow down the turret rotation speed on multiple vehilces, the worst being with the pt76 but it's been removed since
2:18 There's actually alot of wheeled vehicles that are road legal in WT (such as the Centauro and Freccia), however they would to have their guns deactivated and you would need to registrate it (also manage to get one lol)
almost all german groundvehicles have numberplates. think only ww2 tanks don't have those but the wheeled vehicles have for sure

07:27 Fun fact, the spur wheels only exist on Draken models with the long afterburner (EBK66). On models with the short afterburner, there is instead a little solid spur with a wear strip. In the game, the J35A has that spur clearly visible.
the V-1 was actually in the game until it got removed recently I think, you couldnt testdrive it but you could spawn in in a custom cdk mission

So a bit of correction (for those who care)
The centrall gun for the UK light cruisers (like the town class) isn't shorter, they're recessed so that the muzzle flash and the hot gasses from the outer most guns don't interfere with the balistics of the shell fired from the centrall one
About the tank crew voicelines: If you play the French vehicles, when you spot an enemy tank the crew will say the approximate range of the spotted enemy (~100m). Tried it out in rb and worked, you need to understand french numbers to get it (ex: "ennemi! cinq cents mètres!" for 500m)
It's a thing for every nation. At least I can confirm it for all nations besides China, Japan and Israel, they're the only languages I don't understand at all

1:49 My assumption is that you start the game without any Israeli vehicles, so Gaijin implemented an exception to the nation to make sure the game doesn't freak out.

Fun fact about the stabliser.
My old squadron commander did a big brain with the stabiliser, he thought he'd need to bind it to make it active. Unfortunately he made it the same key as his scope button, so when he scoped in his stabiliser would turn off. He played like that for quite a few years and it was only when he was streaming while playing a high tier vehicle someone noticed it.
I always wondered why he said most tanks were shit, well this is why lmao.

They added the crew surrendered mechanic back in 2015 or 2016 because there were a few players in the old simulator battles who would land low tier bombers on the enemy runway and gun down anybody who spawned
I think the reason the game allows is really tech tree to be entirely empty is because the default is entirely empty because you need to reach a certain rank. I believe it’s ranked five in US British French or Israeli tech trees.

similar goes for history pages. if your first spawn counts towards the mission, then you can spawn any other tank and it will count.

The kv2 you can use them (I think, citation needed) just not on all tanks the rear machine gun is usable

@@Eonymia Can't remember the exact (minor) update, but I remember reading a changelog about how some of the rear mounted MG's were disabled. Wish I could find the exact changelog, but I remember reading it and just being confused as to why they decided to disable it (I know it wasn't useful, but it was a fun little secret).

HEY not sure if you have already done this but if you fly straight up and drop bombs they will play the impact sound when they reach 0 SPD and will then fall without any noise
so despite the length of the ammunition tray for the MiG-19 it still somehow only holds 70 rounds of 30mm ammunition so evidently either the model is bugged or the soviets used 2 foot long links in their 30mm belts
The central barrel on RN Southampton ("Town") class cruisers only appears to be shorter. IRL the center guns are set back to reduce shockwaves from the outermost guns affecting accuracy.

In many WW2 German fighters, the amo count in the cockpit is accurate.
Pacific maps in air RB can’t be played in mixed battles, it needs to be US&UK vs Japan.
The B-29 is a B-29A-BN variant, and the BN designates it was produced at the Boeing plant in Renton, Washington state. This factory now assembles all the 737s.

For buildings like Jardine House (idk the spelling), the reason for changes may be due to the fact there's a kind-of copyright system that exists for buildings. Example being the Eiffel Tower at night not being technically allowed for photography. Maybe the case for the change in design was that it was protected under copyright and Gaijin found out, was contacted about it or was denied upon trying to contact the rights owners to the building's image.
You can freely photograph the tower due to it's age
However, the nighttime lights on it were intalled more recently and are still under protection so technically a nighttime photograph where they are turned on and visible would require a license

The T-26-4 is the only one that still has a functional rear machine gun in the turret. Aside from that pretty sure the V1's still exist in the game but it's incredibly hard to find them as most missions no longer have them. ConeOfArc made a video related to the Yellow and black stripes Sherman camo.

whenever you overload one of your wings and it snaps about a quarter into the wing, the gun on that wing stops working because the ammo belt also snapped XD
The Object 248 is actually the Is-5, obviously it uses and earlier numbering series, with the IS-3 being a long barreled Is-1 etc

Also, the situation where you might want to switch off the stabilisation is when you rock backwards and forwards trying to get more gun depression. Stabiliser prevents you from using full elevation angles.
No, the Chi-Ri II is the target practice, those icon supposedly represents the scope/screen view of night vision/thermal camera, and the Chi-Ri II as the target that being looked at.

Interesting fact. Seversk-13 is one of the maps with its own unique lore. It is difficult to find information about the lore of Seversk in English, as well as video analysis with English subtitles; most of the information is in Russian. As a native speaker, I will try to translate some of this comment.
Seversk-13 is a completely fictional map, except for minor correspondences to a real contract with the same name "Seversk". On the map we can find many playing audio recordings in different places.
In the police car, we hear reports of bridges being blocked by the military, the evacuation of a “medium-sized industrial enterprise” (this wording disguised facilities associated with the Soviet nuclear program) and scores of missing tourists.
Instructions on what to do during air raids are heard over loudspeakers.
On the radio in the apartments we can learn that the USSR shot down an American U-2, which is a reference to a similar real-life incident in the vicinity of Sverdlovsk (or now Yekaterinburg). Another valuable information that we can get is that NATO exercises are taking place near Seversk.
What do we have as a result? Lore Seversk-13 tells about the beginning of the military conflict between the USSR and NATO, the atmosphere of the map conveys this well. Even though the loudspeakers are still working, it appears that most, if not all, of the city's residents have evacuated by the time the fighting begins.
Seversk-13, in my humble opinion, is a map with one of the richest and most interesting lore in the game, at least from the fictional ones.
