I will never forget the day when I was a young kid in a very small town getting to see a f40 and f50 together downtown. Absolutely blew my mind seeing them.
About 15 years ago I saw a red F-40 Ferrari and a red 1993 Mitusubishi 3000GT racing around one of our bigger cities in my state. I used to own one of the 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GTs, because they resemble the F-40.
I miss malls doing things like this. I have fond memories of going to the mall as a kid and seeing cars, boats, and RVs on display. Especially when they let you climb/go into them and check out the interiors. Better days man, better days.
The original Ferrari racing colour was yellow, if you visit the Ferrari museum in Modena all the early cars are yellow. The 512 came after the Testarossa and sorted out some of the problems, especially the fact that the drive shafts were not horizontal and wore out the CV joints. The 512 had the engine and gearbox repositioned.

The BB was designed by Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina. The first BB model, the 365 GT4 BB, replaced the front engined Daytona and was the first in a series of road-going Ferraris equipped with a mid-mounted flat-twelve engine. It was also the first mid-engined road-car to bear the Ferrari name and the Cavallino Rampante (prancing horse) logo. The 365 GT4 BB was succeeded in 1976 by the BB 512, equipped with a larger displacement engine, then by the fuel-injected BB 512i in 1981. The series was discontinued in 1984 when the BB 512i was replaced by the Testarossa, which used a revised version of the flat-twelve engine.

550 Barchetta and a 512BBI are great cars, the 360 Challenge Stradale is a real drivers car, but a F40 is not as rare as a F50..... but hey you can't go wrong with a F40, Daytona is a nice car too, nice collection tho, well done Chad again!!

Even though the 512 appearantly fixed some issues that the testarossa had it just looks to me like a kit car made to look like a testarossa, it just looks off.
Also two goats next to each other, the F40 and Daytona. Both things of beauty.

Technically the 512 is a Testarossa, just with more modern (for the time) wheels and no pop-up lamps. After this was the F512M which is also a Testarossa. Like the last iteration of the Countach in 89/90, where Lamborghini copied a lot of the vents/slats from the Testarossa, it's actually the same platform, just updated to meet the times. The 1984 Ferrari design was sold right up until 1996!
"Whistlin Diesel" just burned up his Ferrari while driving through a corn field. I also grew up with a love of the F-40 Ferraries as a kid in the 1990's. I had the silver F-40 remote control car and the red F-40 transformers toy and the old Ferrari badges.
I'm loving these CB1 Take vids. I used to live in Bangkok and these vids just take you back there. Malls is Bangkok, country businesses that sell random shit and car collections. Awesome work Chad!

That Daytona sitting by the F40 is a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Berlinetta, I believe, from the lack of grill and headlights.

Australia still has quite expensive luxury cars as there's a luxury car tax of 33% of the value over the luxury car threshold which used to be around $65k but is now $76k so anything above this is an extra 33%. It was put in place a long time ago to protect the local car market as no domestic made cars were over that value including their luxury models. Now it's not relevant at all as we don't have a car manufacturing industry but the government makes a lot of money from it still.
As a 52 yr old. The 308 is iconic to me. Every guy who watched Magnum P.I. wanted this car. Hey, I love all of the Ferrari 's including the F40 🙄...lol

I don't always agree with you, but with the F40 we're on the same page. I went to a race event when I was young and they had 2 F40's in one of the teams (a red and a blue). I was blown away.....

512 is just a facelifted Testarossa, with the same body lines, but you’re not wrong to prefer the earlier and purer version.
The 512tr still had the pop ups, the last 512m has the fixed headlights and best overall motor.
They have Ferraris at the fashion mall in Vegas too

A guy a few blocks from me wgen I was a kid was the original owner of an F40 and a Testarosa. I remember him putting the F40 on the side of the road by the local park with a for sale sign when it had almost 50k miles. Don't remember what the price was. This was about 1994.

I had a supercar before two actually and expensive is just no the sale price some gaskets and o rings cost eight dollars to buy shipping was one hundred then to fit these items it cost three thousand dollars with the money up front before the work was started . Not again !
