    I've had mine a year and for the price I can't say a single negative thing about it. I've had no issues at all. Plenty of power to go anywhere. I'm six feet tall and 300 pounds. Excellent machine!

      @@sidekick96734 how do find it on the trails? Would it be better to spend the extra cash for 4wd?

      @@OTG.Survival I have no regrets. I've gone wherever 4wd ATVs go. I think 4wd would be useful if you plan to do deep water fording or a lot of mudding. For sand, most mud holes and just having fun I highly recommend the Tracker 300.

    Your literally the only person on TH-cam that has reviewed these. I hope you plan on showing more about it & keep us up to date. I'm thinking about getting one bc I need another 4 wheeler but I don't necessarily need another 4 wheel drive already have Rubicon & can am. At the price of this it's hard to pass up especially since I definitely want one that has low gear. This looks better than a Brute Force 300 imo & cheaper to. I just want something smaller to ride sometimes. Just subscribed. 👍

      Thx! And this sounds like the quad which would fit your needs all the way. It will be easier to drive and get into places than those larger bikes. It's not massive, but it's def not small either. It accelerates fast and pulls hard. Soft ride too. Low gear is a must for these, thankfully this bike has it. Forgot to mention the auto brakes work excellent slowing the bike down; we hardly ever have to use brakes unless we're on hills etc. I was going to get the brute force, but after a lot of time and research the machines are exactly the same mechanically top to bottom...other than the plastics, some of the accessory features layout and some other tiny items. But I saved $1k going with the tracker 300 over the kawasaki so it was a no brainer and the Kawasaki dealer couldn't touch the tracker's price and he knew the bikes were the same but since Kawasaki put their name on the side of it the prices automatically jumps up; their invoices are higher. However, just like the tracker 300...the dealers sell the brute force 300 ALL the time; they never stay on the floor because of the total package you're getting for the price. It cannot be beaten. The 2x4 machines are not mass produced and hard to come by. If you find one, get it. I talked to the regular mechanics in the back of bass pro shops tracker section where they do maintenance on all the atv's sxs and boats.. the mechanics said they have not seen one tracker 300 with an issue back in the shop - none. That was a good sign. Plus they drive all the bass pro toys and said the 300 is a fast bike and they are even surprised the 300 price point is literally half of what the big brother 700 costs.

      If so, I'd agree. More efficient, better set up.but I can't find them for sale anywhere around here. Shipping n tax puts it well over the $3600 bass pro sells it for.

    I don’t know much about these machines but we’re looking at getting one of our own just for some easy trail riding and getting from A to B on the property. We don’t need all the bells and whistles, just something basic and dependable that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. We saw the Tracker 300 and wanted to know what people thought of them overall.

    Where did you get the back seat from?

    • @genesis12888
      @genesis12888  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The back seat is from a local atv repair shop who had several for sale, but similar ones you can find looking up Wes AR36 Lounger..those are good. Adding a rear seat is the only way to go. Very helpful for cooler, gear, tools etc. Very comfortable.

      I have not measured the MPG per say but I ride on the weekends at the local ATV parks and each time I have used an avg of 1 gallon for the entire day (4 hrs constant ride typically). If I remember I will document today.

    • @genesis12888
      @genesis12888  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Used atv oil, whatever it said in the manual to use i can't remembered what it was. Very important to use atv oil, not standard automotive oil because the atv needs the additives which additionally treat the clutch components better than standard motor oil. Our mechanic over 30 years working on quads stresses the same thing, so you don't prematurely wear your bike out.

    I heard the top speed of these is about 30mph is that right?

    • @genesis12888
      @genesis12888  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No way. 30 is very easy for this bike.. it goes in the low to mid 50's range topped out. The acceleration is what's more impressive about this thing....it takes off like a big rocket. Impressive for a utility bike.

    • @getwrecked488
      @getwrecked488 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      My son has an Alterra (same machine - 2018), I’ve had it up to 52 mph. It doesn’t accelerate that fast lol, maybe in low? But it is fun to ride, can’t believe you were able to fit a cargo seat/box on the back of this little thing Lol.

    • @JesusTables
      @JesusTables 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      GW, I know right.. im surprised it even fit. I didn't expect it to when we got the seat....the back seat just barely fit over the rear racks, but I'm glad it does all the room makes it feel like it's bigger than it really is. We had the same rear seat on our yamaha grizzly 350 medium size bike
      .that worked out well. In the 50's sounds common for what these 300s can do..which is fine. If you need to go 60mph or more you got the wrong bike. Ours gets up and goes with no hesitation...it's not as fast of course as our sport quads but accelerates quickly for being a 300cc utility bike packing 700lbs with me on it. T

    • @getwrecked488
      @getwrecked488 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jesus Tables yes does very well for what you pay, a very impressive machine. With its nimble light weight will go as fast as a Grizzly 450 4x4. I have a couple bigger 4x4’s and like riding the 300 just as much!

      Yea even the 700 tracker runs 55 that's it my 500 KQ runs 65 my rancher runs about 63 so they do this so the motor lasts longer and your not as rough on it like other brands like honda and can am so I wouldn't buy one
