Brahms's piano works are among the most deep for the afforementioned instrument that I have ever listened. It's said that Radu Lupu was a remarkable Brahms's piano player. Thank you!
MARVELOUS! Perfect sound quality for Brahms. Beautifully realized dynamic contrasts. Wonderful sense of freedom in the elastic approach to rubato and tempo variations all of which seemed inspired far beyond the dictates of mere logic. Best of all these expansive interpretations seem absolutely heartfelt and perfectly sincere. BRAVISSIMO!
I really admire his touch on the keys, and he delivers the best performance of the first rhapsody I've ever heard. Oh Brahms, that reprise..... I've never heard anything quite like it, and Lupu gets the haunting quality just right. Even Murray Perahia can't match his quiet bell tone delicacy on the end of this piece.
You prolly dont give a shit but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
Awwwww wow..... I practised this long ago..it captures you doesn't it..... It's like beautiful sounds if love.Thanks. It's enchanting. My favourite piece of music too. Yes I agree ,the performer understood Brahms, and expressed these awesome combination of sounds to new heights, by, in my words, combining himself with the music and let the music flow out of his being. And through his delicate touch on the piano, executed the piece of music with precision and greatness.

10:05 for the Rhapsodie in G minor
Excellent playing of the two extrordinary rhapsodies.
No one casts a spell with the piano music of Brahms as greatly as this man. He understands the soul of this music like no other I have heard.

I agree in all respects, especially in relation to the perfect balance of rubatos.

本当に素晴らしい!

Thank you!
Radu Lupu and Julius Katchen my favorites here
Yes, in fact.
It's a bit too rigid and mechanical to me, sections marked legato sound so pizzicato in this recording.
"A bit too rigid and mechanical," Radu Lupu ?? Seriously ? Mon dieu. Que ne faut-il pas lire. Go on, learn Brahms to Radu Lupu, and make me laugh.
@@PGFTopera how could someone not hear the multiple changes in tempi, texture and rubato in the first??
No. Too fast. No grandeur.
