i also completed the alchemist ( the message of following your destiny and listening to your heart is conveyed nicely but sometimes it feels like they are doing unnatural things like boy talking to wind and sun all that things)

Shub, I will recommend you to read "The Silent Patient"...The book is a psychological thriller of a woman’s act of violence against her husband-and of the therapist obsessed with uncovering her motive. I am not naming them cuz I don't wanna spoil it for you...Hope you read it, Btw love you yaar ❤️
As a regular reader i can suggest you that you don't need to finish a book if you are not feeling so,
I also used to take it as a mission to complete a book than it leaded to my downfall and i gradually lost interest in reading.
So i suggest you to just drop the books you don't like and you can have a synopsis of story before buying it so that you are aware of your interest and willn't get bored. Hope it helps :)

As a fellow book rederI have some recommendations for few books which you may try:
1. You may try the Goosebumps series by release order (reason: in every Goosebumps books , it's not that much scary but the stories are interesting and always there's a twist at the end of the story , which may be guessed sometimes but it feels kinda nostalgic and worth it )
2. The summoning, followed by the books THE AWAKENING and THE RECKONING ( actually a triology , it's kind of similiar to the book you've THE SORCERY OF THORNS you've read )
3. Enid Blyton is kind of my fav writer ( I've read his books like magic faraway tree and the adventurous four and the five goes to mystery moor , five go to demons rock ) it's kind of nostalgic reading these types of book.....
Note: all of these are mostly kids writer bcuz i don't know what to recommend him , because i recommend someone judging by their personality....
And i am definately going to try some of the recommended books by bbs

Read the Sherlock Holmes series. I myself am not much of a reader and thought I won't be able to understand it but it was surprising very easy to read and really fun too.

8:35 I've read Stephen Chbosky's 'imaginary friend'. It's a horror book with a twisted end but it's like so long it took me a month or two to finish it (like 720 pages). Not the best book out there but I think it's descent.
This video motivated me to read some books and now I am here again after finishing 5 books.
One of the recommended book that i also purchased and read is " The Alchemist " it will definitely worth to read.

The pool and intestine, i have seen somewhere in the movie, i guess it was final destination, dont know which part but the story in the movie goes like :-
A guy was lying on a sunlounger, and by chance his "lucky coin" which he used to have with him all the time fells inside the pool. As he dived in the pool to bring his coin back, the machine which is used to suck out water turns on randomly because of a guy. The coin was on the sink of the pool, as the machine started it sucked water so fast that his buttocks was pulled inside, dur to high pressure his whole body was pulled inside and everything in his body was crushed. The scene is shown as his "lucky coin" is coming out of the pool's vaccum with the guy's intestine and his whole body turned into just blood and every organ came out of him. I watched this movie in 2016 still cant get this scene out of my mind.

I will definitely recommend you the book "Sapiens". I it is a damn good book. It tells us about the starting of mankind and it's evolution towards the modern man
You should read "Percy Jackson: The lightning theme" by Rick Riordan as it is based on Greek mythology and demigods . It was my first novel and i finished the 300 page book in 4 days .It was so good and you should definitely read it.

As a reader myself I would like to recommend you a book series with many twists named WINGS OF FIRE a book about the dragon which consists of 15 books but it is divided into three parts like 5 books for one part if you want further then you can read the next chapter

If you loved the book "A Thousand Splendid Sons". I want you to recommend an amazing book just like this. The book is "Ahimsa" by Supriya Kelkar. The story of the book is so good and beautiful, It's a story of a 10-year-old girl living in India at the time of British Rule and it tells the life situation of life, covers a part of Hindu Muslim conflict and the unity of India. At the end of A Beautiful Ending, I would really like you to read the book and share your review of it. Also thanks for motivating me to start reading again 😊

BBS I recommend you to read haruki murakami novels and start with kafka on the shore or Norwegian wood. He is a very good writer and you're going to thank me later to introducing you to his work
As a Ruskin Bond reader, I would suggest all of his books. Such simple language (preferable to you ig) and deep feelings and emotions, it'll be a total worth it.
Another books: The Art of War, Palace of Illusions, Secrets of Doon series etc. Hope it'll be fun
I am also a Ruskin bond reader not a big fan it is mostly the storyline yes it is for kids and is therefore simple but I know some people enjoy it!

In may, I read a novel called one of us is lying, the story was interesting and there was a kind of element in it which allures you a lot to continuously read it, the best thing was that we get to know the 4 main character's their own perspectives although the ending was kind of predictable for me, they could have ended it in a good way like there is a character in this book which they could have made a villian type but they did not,but, in conclusion, It is worth reading!

Khaled Hosseini is a very phenomenal writer . His works may seem quite normal at start but after that you just get immersed . You should try his other works like The kite runner , And the mountains echoed ,

As a regular reader I would also recommend "The DaVinci Code" by "Dan Brown", it is one of my favourite books, the story is super awesome, twists are superb, and lots of puzzles, and suspense!!

I recently finished reading 'The Dungeon Tales'. Its amazing as I'm a person who loves rading comics and manga, this was the first novel i read and i was quit satisfied with that. Its funny and based on old world.

My first book which I completed was Chetan Bhagat's "A Girl In The Room 105"
a very action packed + interesting book to read : Alex Rider (STORMBREAKER) this is the first part of alex rider and its reallllyy good
I've read only 1 novel which was Harry Potter and the cursed Child (It is the story after the last movie) but I understood the whole book and the story was really good I don't know if there are better books than this but as I liked the story so I will give it 8/10. But in school library ,teachers don't let us read what we want like they literally give us books which are suitable for 2 ,3 yr old kids like we won't understand books if we chose on our own.

You should read "The Silent Patient". Its one of the best psychological thirller novel . Its just soo good . The twists in this novel are so thrilling and the ending is just BOOOM!

as a classical book reader, I would suggest philosophical books by the author's Albert Camus, Nietzsche,fydor (the stranger, crime and punishment are some good ones)
Hi shubhu. I recommend you to read "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. It is definitely one of the best book ever written. It has various emotions and its a feel good book. I hope you will like it.
Definitely, The book is good like it feels like every word is used very wisely, I completed the whole book in less than 6 days like just wow though the ending os not that good but still a masterpiece, It is not a book it is an experience.....

I love Ernest Hemingway's works.... I remember I had studied an anti war short story named old man at the bridge in class 10 icse in the book called treasure trove and loved it so much.... Later on read many more works of him

Ahh I remember reading 'The Shining' By Stephen King and it was honestly the most boring book I've ever read. Too much of unnecessary detailing and stuff.. But yeah I found 700+ new words from it.... So.... Ig it was worth it :D
i also have read one of the novel of Stephen King 'Misery' . i also had the same experience, the book was boring too much unnecessary stuff. after reading this book, i watched the movie based on it which was very straight forward. idk why the novel was making it that much complicated
