As someone who has played 0 Pokémon and a lot of magic the gathering, I love how similar these endgame strats can be with the mindset of "how can I possibly lose this? Let's do everything I can to minimise that". Except with Pokémon it's misses and crits and with mtg it's them having a specific card or whatever
Talking about how you can still win the game in the worst case scenario is a level of depth of play I still can't quite grasp. This is why I watch. Nuts.

Regirock is very good this gen. Very bulky (200 def, 100 spdef+sand, and good HP,) strong offensively (especially with WP,) and clear body for anti-intimidate

Regirock Is interesting in TR. Clear Body + Weakness Policy and Dmax Is a good combo, and 'mons like Dragapult and Metagross proved It, but I prefer more a Curse + Lefties

OBS sometimes does weird things with fullscreen applications, but you might be able to use a window capture instead of a screen capture for the recording, which would let you check your camera in OBS without us seeing infinite OBS loop. You might then need to set up a different scene for the damage calc, but it looks like you already have a couple scenes.

you should make sure that the framerate on your camera and OBS recording are the same, that might help with your video capture constantly freezing! if you're recording 30fps in OBS, make sure your in-camera settings are also 30fps (and vice versa)
Quick question: in the second round would it have been a good move to do urshifu+coalossal and dragapult grimsnarl in the back, u can still get the weakness policy and focus sash won’t let it get ok’ed

Wolfe, id be interested to hear your opinion on Double Elimination. I’ve heard some controversy about it from top players who were saying how bad it is that 1 win in winners is worth 2 wins in losers.
I’m pretty sure a double elim bracket is infinitely easier to manage in a worldwide tournament than true Swiss like what you’d see in a live event (getting pairings for each round out in a timely fashion would be a pain in the ass). Also, I’m not really sure if using tournament software is even possible without collecting way more data than what is available in game, namely trainer IDs. With double elim, once you have usernames you can pretty much plug and place the next matchup as results come in. It takes it from being pretty much 1 match per day like what Swiss would have to be to potentially 5-7 (conservatively)
