The show seems like it's modeled on some BBC game shows, but to me, lacks variety and spontaneity. Maybe they'll shake up the format at some point. She deserves the best.

It's usually a fairly solemn occasion, lots of talking about failure and sin and such. So getting enough laughs from your Testimony for it to be considered stand-up comedy is a hilarious concept.
I used to think that Taylor had tons of prepared material for interviews like this because she always seemed to have a funny response ready to go. But then the jokes just kept coming and I realized, wait a second, she is just that quick. Either she has a massive rolodex of jokes for every possible situation or her brain writes jokes like ChatGPT. Either way, I'm looking forward to her show!

For the record, I am 65 and find her to be one of the funniest women comics in the world. I would go further and say she is one of the quickest minds in comedy. She is Robin Williams with breasts. Just as with all the best comedians, she seems to live for hecklers. The best ones look, scan the audience, for hecklers. That gives them a vehicle to keep the rest of the crowd entertained. She is literally that quick. I have no problem putting her in the same category as Robin, at least as a comedian. I don't know what kind of actor she is, as I can't recall her being in anything, but I would wager she could aquit herself just fine in a film.
They have such a good rapartee. I can see Stephen seeing himself in her. And her in awe but still clear-headed. I hope they have many more. Cannot wait for Tomlinson's show!!!

She's extremely talented! Earlier in her career she was already given a spotlight by Conan so she's got letters of recommendation from at least two of the titans of modern late night. Her standup is very dynamic, well-paced and clever, she used to do some really great crowd work as well, I think she'll knock it out of the park

Stephen's advice about the professionally attractive people is so true. But I've interviewed a lot of actors in my industry and the thing that you're never prepared for are the celebs who are actually more good-looking in real life, to the point that they don't even seen human. It takes your brain a little while to catch up to the questions your mouth is asking because it shorts out for a second just trying to get your head around their face.
I'm a lot older and I love to laugh at Millenials... er, laugh at stuff about Millenials.😊 But really, being aware of what's going on in society means being aware of the attitudes of the various generations - although it's true a lot of people are obtuse about it.
I have loved her comedy ever since I first saw her first Netflix special. I have seen older clips from when she was first starting to gain so popularity. She would say she knows she is not very pretty but I disagree. She doesn't flaunt her body but I think she is beautiful
I've only seen (and really enjoyed) her stand up, but good stand ups have so many transferable skills that moving into hosting, acting, or other disciplines usually pays dividends. And with her self-deprecating humour I'm very much looking forward to seeing what she does. But just in case the TV companies have forgotten, it's not "1 in, 1 out" so you're allowed to bring back Sam Bee and Amber Ruffin. 😉
Self-deprecating humour is not usually respected in the US, but Tomlinson seems to have found a way to make it work. I think it's because she makes it very relatable.
