This song touches my heart. I lost my husband of 40yrs, back in April. Can't help but cry when I hear this song. It's so beautiful and captures what a relationship should be.
David does it again! This one definitely speaks so much about relationships, love, marriage and commitment. My husband and I have had our share of ups and downs as well. Our firstborn was very ill at birth. We nearly lost him but after three weeks in NICU we finally brought him home. Five years after our second child was born I was diagnosed with breast cancer at only 33 years of age when the children were just 5 and 8. Definitely a rough decade. We just celebrated 19 years cancer free, our 32nd anniversary and the children are now 24 and 27. We had so much to learn but it’s all worth it. So happy for you and your wife, Lyle. Congrats on your upcoming anniversary!

David did a Live Q&A at Barn Bash this past weekend and he was asked about the ring on his right hand, which I just noticed the close-up in the video watching here... he said that it was a ring that his wife Lori gave to him many years ago that was very special to him. When he said it, his emotions bubbled up and you could see how much she meant to him. Thought it was a pretty great easter egg in the video to capture that ring which he has worn for so long. What a great song. Can't wait for you to hear Gamechanger... it's phenomenal.

Hey Lyle, I'm sorry to hear about your loss my friend, my ex-wife and I experienced a loss of our first child as well, and like you we met when I was 18 and she was 21, but we did have another child when I was 19 and we were married for 22 years. Now I am blessed to have my daughter and granddaughter with me and taking care of me. It taught me why I had to quit asking people why don't you just leave. It was the Lord stepping in and saving my life many times. I believe I survived only because he got put in prison. WOW , we were so young .. didnt know what to expect. Well. 56 yrs, I lost Bill s . Wasnt an easy road , but GOD 😂 led us through . 3 kids , 12 grandkids ..so far 8 great grandkids . And Im only 75 . Hallelujah , All the Glory hoes to GOD ALMIGHTY 3 kid
