Pretty harsh, they missed one call. They were dead on about everything else on the lines even when everyone argued you can slow it down and see they were correct
Hello players and fans, both the setters here are often doing double touches during their settings. In the category where I play (I'm a setter) they consider double touch if the ball is not perfectly frozen. Are the rules worldwide different for the settings? Thanks for any costructive reply!
Axel Lexa most of the time though, doubles are called when 2 audible or visible touches on the ball can be heard or seen when setting. you can set the ball and have it spin as long as you cant hear the two touches, it just means they havent perfected setting yet. they probably have high standards where you're from
Axel Lexa where do you play? Cause I've seen even international games in which the ball has spin but there was no double contact. Spin on the ball does not mean you double contacted, it's the noise it makes when hands contact at different times. Even watch Serie A1, Christenson, De Cecco and Gianelli have spin on their ball.
Hello MD Campo, I suppose our referees have really high standards as you said. When I set I touch with both hands but if the defense is bad and I don't perfectly "absorb" the ball during the set it keeps spinning a bit and they call the double touch. The only option left is that our referees suck ahah
Hello Chris, I play in Italy and I've seen many A1 games where the ball keeps spinning, as you said, after the setting. This is what makes me frustrated as I spend more attention on freezing the ball than deciding where to set. I play in "First Division", the category before Serie D.
That lefty setter from UCI is a beast, damn
michael saeda, listed as an opposite on the uci website.
RnB4 He was opposite in high school-He started setting at UCI
damn that setter is so amazing
I saw the UCI vs Stanford game on 4/7 and he blew my mind
everybody talks about 1:10 spike but have you seen 7:50 spike? that one is also really cool
This armswing is damn fast, but that ball touched the player or net and was not that bouncy.
Scott Static... DAMN... That kid was in my conference and I watched him my freshman year when he was a senior. Good to see he's still killing it
This backround-combinations are amazing:)
UCI's setter would be a great addition to the Olympic team!
The best thing about being a left-handed setter 1:10 7:50 xD
This is amazing volleyball. I wish I could play for a team like these two. But I live the 5'7 life :(
That's my goal coach!
2:55 Serve is called in, but in my opinion it wasnt. Am i right?
no was in. look slowmotion
where's james shaw. standford needs that man
number 20: thomas hodges, was in volleyroos in 2013/14
that line ref is the real mvp
Awesome video.Tomorrow I'm going to play volleyball for my school, what do you think .☺☻
Liked the rallies @ 14:53 and 17:19, just for sheer perseverance.
Do you record at 1080p 60fps or 4K 30fps?
14:08 imagine if he had hit line
I hope Stanford can rebuild like they did with Shaw when he was a freshman
When the best spiker in the game goes to the setter XD
Damn, the first minutes felt like watching someone get violated. Really good plays by UCI
Are those guys are from San Juan Hills HS? Does anyone know?
i wanna ask something
if im at back row and im run outside line to front row and spike it are that valid?
no ofcourse... sometime there is a extension of the 10ft(3m)-line, so everybody would See, that it is a mistake xD
damn I miss the days I play volleyball actively. Now I have nobody to play volleyball with.
are the refs blind?
Pretty harsh, they missed one call. They were dead on about everything else on the lines even when everyone argued you can slow it down and see they were correct
didnt know logan paul was a setter
Have you seen Haikyuu? It is an anime about volleyball. I think you would enjoy it, but I don't know if you have the time to see it.

Sometimes spin, not always

1:10 holy $h!*
Michael saeta is an absurd player
I missed Stanford's super seniors especially James Shaw and that's the reason why Stanford is now a crappy team
First
I cant stand #3 on the black shirt teams serve. It just looks ugly as hell. Works though.
Worst volleyball officiating I've ever seen
Zoo
