I heard this song for the first time yesterday at a memorial service. The mom played it in remberance of her 22 y/o son and his 23 y/o bff who passed flying a plane last week. The mom danced through the mourning crowd with her hands in the air. it was beautiful. I’ve listened to this song like 20 times since.
Lili Z , this was the first song that came on the day I was told at work that my Dad passed away 2 1/2 years ago. I’m a teacher and 2 vice principals came in to tell me then this song popped on radio. When I think of my Dad, I play this song. I sympathize with the people who passed away and the mother. Godspeed to you and them.

When my son was born, they handed him to me and he was crying. I didn't know what to do, so I just started humming this song to him, he quit crying almost right away. I'll never forget this song because of that moment.

Saw these guys last night when they opened up for Airborne Toxic Event in Nashville.
I’ve never heard this band before, but was blown away at the show by them.
IMMEDIATELY after the concert, and before my way home, I downloaded every one of their albums available on iTunes. I have not stopped listening to them since.
Sooo good! Bummed I didn’t hear about them earlier, because it would have been fun to sing along at the show last night - but, you better believe that if they are ever in Nashville again, I’ll be at the show singing my heart out!

Pretty shocked this song didn't blow up. What a timeless feel. A lot of people saying it reminds them of Dylan ... reminds me more of another smaller-time (but amazing) dude Ike Reilly.
March of 2017 my sister went to hospice. During this I heard this song and it helped me cope. I've cherished it ever since.

First time I ever heard this song was around a campfire. My sister in law’s boyfriend and I were playing guitar and trading songs and a bottle of good bourbon. Out of nowhere him and my sister in law began singing this song together and I was floored. First, I had never heard my sister in law sing and had no idea she could sing so well. Second, we are all Christians, so this song had a powerful affect on me. About a month later I heard this version, and as good as it is, nothing like that night I first heard it. Beautiful.
Well I don't beleive in any higher power. With that being said this is the only song that I love with that kind of message. This is a great song and if everyone lived by it's message this whole world would be a much better and much brighter place for sure.

Past couple years were really tough with a few family deaths and then being let go at a job because they said I really needed to be admitted to a hospital outpatient program for depression. I remember shaking everyones hands to say my farewells, we had this large stereo that played 8 hours a day and then..... this song comes on......it was really weird, i was like WTH is that?! and put a lump in my throat, but helped me walk out of there with my head held high with hope.
I just saw them last night at The Vic in Chicago. The only video/picture I took was of the line "everything will be alright if you let it go." Less than 12 hours later I got bad news and needed to be reminded to let go and let god.

This is my story about how I first heard this song...
I was in a dark place and I had to drive somewhere. I never listen to the radio and I forgot my CD. I was leaving a parking lot with some bad thoughts and turned on the radio to a station I have not listened to in year. This song was the first song that played and it matched what I was going through. I bought the CD.
There are times when a curse word .. the F bomb, is not a word but an emotion. I love the song Thunder because it's been a long FU***NG year.

I love this song because of the emotion in the performance. It's truly one of my favorites that still brings a hopeful, happy tear to my eye. But the video, which I saw after hearing this, and the way it shows so much of the best of humanity, is remarkable. The smiles and looks of hope and joy in those faces just adds another layer of greatness to this song and the power of its message.
I am fortunate enough to sing lead vocal on this song in the band I'm in. I can pour so much of myself into covering this esoteric classic. Yeah, one of my favorites…👽✌️

I remember listening to this on Montréal 97.7 FM in the early months of 2017. I was working on as an intern to a bailiff on the South Shore delivering legal documents and this song made my trips magical and wonderful.

TRUE STORY!! I was praying yesterday for Jesus to come into my heart, heal me, forgive me, and to have the relationship God. moments later I got into my car to see the dr, and the radio was on (usually I listen to my Playlist), and this song that I have never heard before came on. spoke to my heart. i knew Jesus heard my prayer!!! The high I felt in that moment brought me to tears. Thank you for this beautiful song and reaching me by doing God's will.

I am a fan after their performance at Bonnaroo this year... it was one of the best concerts I've seen in a long time.
I saw them at the GMF and I got to stand write up front, they were AMAZING! That was my second time seeing them, and I feel like the only kid my age who is able to spot good music. Joshua also walked right in front of ,e at the 97X next big thing, I almost screamed and had to control myself from reaching out and grabbing him by the arm or something
