- -All levels exept 2-EX, 11 and 12-EX I did without autoplay so you can see my current skill - So I thought it might be good to make a longer video, and I did say at the start that I'd make a more detailed explaination of the game. So..
ADOFAI is a rythmn game where you are in control of 2 orbs/planets/stars/balls/ weird sentient circle things and you press literally any key on your keyboard to the beat of the song. The main aspect of the game is that you don't have to use specific keys for specific notes. For example, I use 'n' and 'v', but my friend Joe (yes, editor joe) uses 'j' and 'f' when he plays. It's got a (in my opinion) very good soundtrack with songs ranging from fast and upbeat to slow and more relaxed. There's 12 main levels, + some extras. I'm still not too great at the game, so I'll upload me beating some custom levels every now and again, but thats basically the game in a nutshell. Here's the explaination video I was talking about:

These could be unlocked by clearing XT-X at 1x speed trial
12-ex feels like an actual final boss while 11-ex is like a hidden final boss because of the difficulty spike is 11-Ex unlike others is massive

7-ex definitely matches the difficulty curve of neo cosmos’ ex levels the best, all the others are too over-the-top or too hard imo
yeah, I think most of them are either a little too easy, or a bit too hard. we dont even need to talk about 2, 11 or 12 tho
I think 9EX is kind of like a remixed challenge version of the level it would but cool to unlock as doing the speed trial of the level

Interestingly, those versions of 4-EX and 12-EX did make it into the featured levels ! I'm a bit sad that 7-EX isn't in there too, because it really should be.

The fact that these were all charted by different people shows. Different people had different ideas of how much more difficult EX was supposed to be. Like, 11 was, one assumes, charted by someone who eats difficulty 15 charts (linearly extrapolating the level numbers upwards) for breakfast.
