@@peapers_the_second you kinda do the same with octavio. If you throw Smallfry (or a bomb) into master mega's mouth when it imitates octomaw or when mega's all tired out from shooting lasers, it'll do something similar to octavio, but better.
At like a fourth of the fire rate, ink tanks can handle so much less in Splatoon 2 and 3 than it could in the first game lmao I bet every boss in Splatoon 1 would take 3 times longer just to refill the ink tank alone
Imagine there is a Boss Rush Mode in this game where you have to face ALL the bosses from the entire franchises (Except for the bosses from the single player mode from splatoon 2 nor the octostomp back from the first game)
Funfact (ik some of yall already know this): if you replay the dj Octavio boss in splatoon 2 after you beat him Marie says different this for some of her lines!
I say Octavio weakened with each boss fight, he gets easier to beat each game, but I like the final boss theme in the first game. It’s cool to see Octavio help in the final battle against Mr. Grizz, and it’s surprising to see the captain return to his “natural state,” but at least the Squid Sisters still have a grandpa. I’ll rip Order apart for doing such a heinous act to poor Marina.
Dude, the bosses in Splatoon 3 had great potential to be the craziest and coolest thing in the series... I'm not complaining about Deep Cut, it just could have been better in the boss selection, like sub-bosses before or after facing the traditional giant octarian
I agree, I felt like the deep cut bosses of Frye and Shiver could've been more like sanitized Eight or something and the animals be like sub bosses and then they fuse together with thr final boss be 3 stages. 1 with Frye, 1 with Shiver, and 1 with Big Man.
TBH the splatoon 1 bosses are my favourite, simply because they’re each super menacing coupled with the environment they’re in. They also don’t have brain dead attacks patterns lmao.
