Bon is the indigenous religion of Tibet, and it is a very ancient religion. Main teaching is known as Dzogchen, and Bon followers are the second most populous in Tibet. Bon history illuminates into the depth of the real Tibetan civilization - popularly fabricated in Tibetan culture as something that began with the union of a monkey father and a demon mother just two thousand years ago.
