It is good that things are slowly improving there. When I made my video about it a few years ago, although I didn't want to make it seem negative, with so many empty, abandoned or half built properties it was hard not to. I remember going in the Irish bar there for a coffee when making the video and asking the person behind the bar what the best thing about living there was and she said "The people".
Yeah it's slowly getting better. There are still abandoned houses but it's not as bad as it used to be. I also have to say the people are amazing here. I love all my neighbors and those who work in the restaurants.
Great video mate, we just got back from Costa de Antigua, We stayed at the Elba Lucia sports hotel and had a nice time. Do you have any history of the defunct Lido ? Someone certainly had grand ideas when they built it ! I see they have started 'working' 😬on the villas adjacent to the Lido. Do you know what that intriguing building is on the dirty track, signposted "La Ballena" ? Lots of trees, cameras and German Shepherd" guard dogs so must be important ! Thanks for posting. 👍
Beautiful! Nice and quiet; something tells me when the economy comes back, you’ll have a ton of expat neighbors, but...your property value will skyrocket! Do you have any grocery stores nearby?
Sorry if you couldn't see me well. It didn't dawn on me that the sun was in the other direction until later 🤦🏽♂️
Very Nice ,, Please show some more of Costa de Antigua.
Thank you. I'll try to do more future videos of Costa de Antigua 😊

Thanks. Yes there are two big grocery stores about 5 minutes away. They have everything. We usually go there every Friday to buy food for the week.
