Hardy is 2 time CMA (Country) songwriter of the year. He's written so many of the best country songs since 2018. Now that he's doing rock, he's taking the songwriting skills into rock more than just about anyone ever has (I graduated high school in '96... was on the Nirvana train from Teen Spirit and haven't gotten off yet, but WTF was he talking about in his songs???) In other words, like another commenter said, Hardy is a very deep rabbit hole that you'll never regret falling into. "Rockstar" is one of the least-deep songs he's ever done, not that that is a negative to the song.
everything he does is great...I would do "sold out ", "the mocking bird and the crow ", "truck bed " , "radio song " and he has a song with baretooth "the better me " just to name a few to start with....
