It was in Combo Breaker 2024 and Ceo tournament 2024 but comparing to the player skill in that tournaments to the community tournaments like Tournament Zone,Black Emerald Cup and Mobius Cup 2023,that was a total bad joke,the community player skill are real pros.

I had a blast with this game on the sonic collections gamecube game, i did on the XBLA re-release too! Sadly my Xbox bricked, so i can't go to this game's online anymore
Sonic The Fighters actually has interesting mechanics that make it stand out from other fighters, should you put the time into learning to sidestep properly and get good at reading your opponents. They really should make a sequel to build upon StF.

Yeah, if I remember, there are even command grabs that are tied to the opponent, such as being able to steal Fang's gun or feed Bean his own bomb.
