How can you say that God is "hugging you" when this music was not made by God? Even if God _had_ made it, what makes you think God wants to hug you? When Jesus wrote to the churches, He didn't "send hugs", I wrote REBUKE. Because there was sin in those churches. Your idea of a warm, soft, fuzzy God who just wants to hug everyone is a false god. It's an idol. It has nothing to do with the God of the Bible. The true God is terrifying, severe, and greatly to be feared! The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I don't sense any fear in you. You're putting words into God's mouth - saying that He wants to give you a hug. When did God say that? How do you know He doesn't want to rebuke you instead? The Scripture says that God disciplines those He loves. You are seeking "comfort" but what you should be seeking is TRUTH. How does God really feel about you? Is there any sin in your life? Do you feel guilty about anything? Then get on your knees and weep, in the fear of God! 1 John 2:4 "He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." Nowhere in the New Testament did Jesus or the Apostles ever preach the "love of God". That is a Satanic ministry, and not part of the Gospel message. God's WRATH is upon sinners and they remain His enemies unless they repent and find salvation through Jesus. There may be times when the Lord shows His love toward saved individuals, but that's unlikely to happen through a general TH-cam video watched by millions of people. And certainly not _this_ ungodly music. This music is creepy, sad, dark, and ambiguous. It's the exact opposite of the Spirit of God. The Spirit of the Lord is bright, joyful, triumphant, sober, sincere, and humble. The Spirit of God does not make dark, creepy "nightclub" style videos in the name of God.

It is true the Old Testament God was full of wrath for the sinful, but isn't that why Jesus died? The biblical definition of fear is not afraid, more reverence. You may not personally like this music style but I guarantee Elevation has pointed more people to Christ than you will ever know. I also know the overwhelming love when I sense His presence. The Bible doesn't say that God does love, it says He IS love. Does discipline come with that love? Of course it does and I fully expect for God to do so when I sin, but I know that He will be there to pick up the pieces and put me back together the way He wants, as long as I trust Him and not get in the way of what He is doing. When you trust and obey God, He blesses that. As for this song, they are simply stating that there is nothing better than the presence of God. What's wrong with that? It seems that you maybe are harboring some unresolved sin which is leading to bitterness. I pray that you may be able to lay it at the cross, repent of it and that you may find peace.
