I don't know the woman telling the story about grammar, but the lightbulb moment for me was when the person's mother said: language evolves. Why not this way? Brilliant and I'm an ally now, not a grammar nerd.
I'm a total ally, too. I don't know what all the panic is about. That said, the grammar nerd in me still *does* bristle a tiny bit every time a plural pronoun is used to denote a singular noun.
Merrell Streep is just so oh idk fun I mean she's beautiful and Talented and funny I fell hook line and sinker for her in Death Becomes Her 😊 and Goldie Hawn 😊

13:00 For everyone who has the same trouble about grammar and using they/them as she did let me assure you that it's perfectly within grammar and has been for hundreds upon hundreds of years. Think about it, what pronouns do you use if you don't know whether a person you're talking about is male or female? Say I'd be telling a story about my English teacher without telling you the sex or gender of my English teacher and you wanted to ask me a question about my teacher, which pronouns would you use? Exactly, you'd ask something like _"Were they a good English teacher?"_ to which I would respond _"Yes, she was."_ after which you'd know she's a woman and would carry on with she/her but until you know you'd instinctively use they/them so yes, it's perfectly within English grammar and has been for ages...
Seeing Graham’s face over the years here makes me realize how stunning he really is…. What wonderful lover he would be😋🤭🤫😜 and all the talent he’s had on the show and how lucky he’s been!
