Harvesting Mustard Seeds 4 June 2024

The seeds pods are dry and even beginning to burst open. Time to harvest!
I laid out an old bedsheet, cut and laid the tops of the mustard branches in it. I picked up the four corners of the sheet to carry it indoors.
I will leave it a few days indoors, where the dry HVAC air will finish drying any moisture. Then I will rub the seed pods in the sheet and gather the mustard seeds.
